if you actually watched anime or knew anything about it, you would know that a large, large percent of anime is dark, serious, and very dramatic. lots of it is horrific... lots is full of mystery. imagine a storyline of something you always would want to see, but its not possible or too expensive to make a tv series or movie out of it... and thats what a lot of anime is.

thats ok tho. lots of people who are ignorant about the topic have a similar statement.
