When was the last time you took some pills and listened to some trance music?

Seems like ages. We were once all sages, all with wisdom to bear beyond our years.

Sometimes I wanna ram a pill up my butt and blast some Andain - Beautiful Things. That's when I remember I also need to do some laundry. But yeah, sometimes I really wanna fist a buncha pills in a crusty, crunched bag I bought right and ram them right into my nethers and then blast off to old ASOTs.

God, wouldn't that be lovely. Anyone? Anyone wanna? Anyone else?

Y'all ever been to that blue light.ru forum where like, all they do is gab about stuffing random powders into holes in their bodies? It's dope bc like, right below all these forums they have laid out for different drugs these members stuff into their holes they have this other forum dedicated to all the members that have died bc they were stuffing a bunch of powders into their holes. It's fucking mega fab:

I created an account there once called myBESThole or something. What a world we were living in during those times.

Quite recently, actually. December. There's something gloriously silly about classic trance, a heartfelt commitment to an overblown idea, much the same spirit that runs through the best '80s action films. The high tempo, the many layers, the breakdowns... it all feels totally unnecessary through modern ears, and yet that's the very charm.

It's honestly been like, 11 years for me tbh. rofl.

What i would kill for is to take some pills and listen to some 96-97 sasha and digweed prog house and prog trance. mixed right. I mean was there ever music more designed for pills?

I never took any pills. The music and alcohol was the drug for most of the people I went out with. We weren't part of the gabber scene obviously.

It was a classics night. Airwave, Oliver Lieb, and some guy playing a "Global Underground classics" set. The GU and Lieb stuff still sounded legitimately great, but Airwave was very unicorn, albeit in a highly enjoyable manner.

I took pills only once and it was with acid as well. A very surreal night, when we were at the "rave" in an old high school gym it felt like I was on a different planet. My heartbeat was in sync with the music and all I wanted to do was dance. I could see why it was so appealing but I honestly preferred the acid. This was 10 years ago now, just before I made my account here!

Not sure if it was trance music they played, but the last time I took ecstasy was at a club back in 2009 or so. I asked some random woman - 20 years my senior - whether I should take acid (it was somewhat of a pick-up line), to which she insisted I take x with her, instead. To make a long story short, I ended up at her house in the middle of the woods in New Jersey, for a 4-day sojourn filled with drugs, sex and psychobabble. Good times.

I did the same thing when I was 21 (in 2008)
