-- TILT - Miracle
TILT - Miracle
Stomping progressive trancer from a couple of legends.
Ripsnorter.
Very few dance (let alone trance) acts can control energy like these guys.
Its track 1 here;
Listen to Planet Perfecto 392 ft. Paul Oakenfold & Magnus by Paul Oakenfold #np on #SoundCloud

its really got the late 90s, Twilo NYC sound to it
Doesn't remind me of late 90's prog but that's not to take away from it. Good track.
BTW are all original members of Tilt still behind the project?

Loving this new tune. Great find!
Would love to hear a darker take on this, hopefully there's a remix or two with that gnarly bassline and a little less of the synthwork.

The Arp sound sucks, sounds like a dry preset on fl studio sytrus and is beyond repetitive, loops the same shit for 8 mins.
I wouldn't try patronising the-sixth, if I were you. The guy is a walking encyclopedia of '99-era trance.
I'm in two minds about this track. As an out-and-out trance record, it's clearly better than 99% of the stuff being released these days. But as a piece of prog trance I'd actually play in a set alongside current melodic stuff... not so much. It's a bit too overblown for me, and I'm not feeling the Gamemaster-esque vocal. Would stand out like a sore thumb in a modern set.
I feel like Tilt did a much better job of updating the spine-tingling trance template with their collab with Silinder a few years back. I still play this one, it's an absolute monster:
I like everything the-sixth doesn't in this track.
The vocals fit nice and I guess I prefer it over Resonator as it has more of a melody. Resonator is a great club track though, but for my taste has a far more repetitive feel.

Kind of surprised the Swamper hasn't turned that option off. No deleting of posts unless immediately after posting or something.
Interesting though sixth, to go back on topic, hadn't considered I Dream myself
I am not disliking this DJ mix they posted on their SC

Has anyone lurking here who is not as out of touch with recent releases as I am heard this and managed to ID anything by any chance?

Cheers
There's a Tilt track called "Exhale" on this Stripped Recordings compilation https://www.beatport.com/release/sn...orman-h/2260150
I'm liking the sample but I can't find any info on it. They're clearly not all brand new tracks on that compilation, such as the John Debo remix of Brancaccio's Basslines for Archie which is late 2014
Took a listen to both Resonator and Miracle. I like them both in their own way, although neither one really stands out to me. Miracle does bring back a rather nostalgic and forgotten sound though.
And then System had to mention a Tilt-Silinder collab, so I had to go check it out. Oh yeah, the dark progressive house sound in this one does it the most for me. Reminds me why I loved Headstrong so much.

I am not disliking that
