F1riday 236

Just watched the US F1 training, as there wasn't anything more interesting on tv.
Early match with the boys tomorrow morning.
Temperatures are finally dropping, it's getting colder now.

No Halloween in our house, I'm against the idea that in this country we need celebrate everything that isn't ours, like we don't already have enough to celebrate yearly.

Same! It wasn't a thing here! But Halloween has caught on big-time in Australia in the last couple of years. This year was the first time we had kids come around and knock on the door doing the "trick or treat" thing in costumes, and we've lived in this suburb for nearly 5 years now.

It was very cute, of course, they looked adorable in their little costumes, but we were just not prepared in any way.

The parents were super cool, they knew it generally isn't done around here, but the kids were having a fucking ball running around the neighborhood with their friends, all dressed up.

And we didn't get egged, or TP'd, which I believe happens in America if you're shit on Halloween.

So that's what PKC's front door looks like.

Hahahaha. Funnily enough i was driving home yesterday and saw people in the neighbourhood in costume. I thought gee, what can i do to these pricks? Then realised you have to put up a sign or whatever that youre participating. I just bought a new hose nozzle and everything. Maybe next year.

I saved my most premium shits and put them in a dehydrator. I took my melon baller and made poo spheres beforehand. I later packaged them and handed them out as Halloween chocolates

It's not that I have the illusion that it won't grow even more in the years to come. If my kids what to celebrate Halloween I won't forbid them to, I just won't encourage them. Our neighbors who around 30 years old decorated their front window for Halloween, but their daughter is just 1 year old so I expect her at the door in the future. I'll just play along.
There are also horror trips near the woods organized over here.

Oktoberfest is another one which isn't ours. I would say visit Mnchen if you want to drink and party in October and can't wait till the Carnaval season starts, which is at 11-11.

LOL at the sign

Are you going to either objekt or DJ nobu/drumcell warehouse jams?

Posted by Silky Johnson on Nov-02-2019 19:25:

Neither. Only outing I have planned is Eelke Kleijn at Stereo in a couple weeks.
