I'm using it on linux - option to save as mp4 (360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p) or just pull the AAC audio. Works for live streams as well as video sessions - can pass your credentials along as well for subscriber only videos

Also works with Youtube but not on protected vids (copyright claim).
