Thumbs up Hemstock & Jennings

have you heard of uk trance act HEMSTOCK & JENNINGS?

Les Hemstock & Chris Jennings from stoke on trent UK also go by the name Sagutire...

WHAT DO YOU THINK? they are currently making waves in the UK trance scene..

I love their work, especially Crimson Soil, Arctic, Mirage Of Hope and Northern Lights. A few years back they made quality uplifting trance under the name of Sagitaire. Neve - Sacrifice (Sagitaire Mix) and Upper Level - Miss You (Sagitaire Mix_ are both great tracks and I reccomend everybody who hasn't heard them to check them out.

yeah Artic is a nice uplifting track, vocal by Kim ex memeber of UK band HEAR SAY.

Les himself is a dj and currenly rocking the UK, two months ago he appeared on fergies radio show live in IBIZA on Radio one and then on Paul Van Dyks show in Berlin.

Well their knowledge of trance must not be up to scratch then

Hemstock and Jennings absolutely rule
Northern Lights
Malu - No Space
Crimson Soil
Mirage of Hope
Arctic (that that bastard PvD has ripped off )
Rendezvous (great rework of that tilt track )
Sagitaire - Shout (even if it is on NuLife)
I've got some old les hemstock stuff on vinyl somewhere, I should dig it out and give it a listen

Paul took those sweet sweet vocals, and put them in an even more amazing track called Nothing But You.

I truly hope that Hemstock and Jennings enjoy the success they deserve after delivering a run of stunning productions and remixes this year. Crimson Soil is a strong contender for my favourite track of 2002 with its unprecendented mix of uplifting melody and beautiful vocals. If you haven't heard their tracks before, you have certainly been missing out.

By the way, considering Tilt pinched the melody from Robert Miles - Children for one of their tracks, it's no big deal that H&J have pinched the melody from 'Rendezvous' (where does 'Invisible' come into this?) for one of theirs

H&J

Mirage of Hope is still my fave of theirs..AND i think their mix of Arctic is better than PvD's

Posted by Dave_Masters on Nov-13-2002 22:53:

Hemstock & Jennings are def one of my favs at the moment

Crimson Soil
Arizona
Rendezvous
Mirage of Hope
Arctic
Northern Lights

all amazing tunes...

BTW rendezvous is a remake of the classic track

Tilt Vs PvD - Rendezvous

listen to the melody of invisible, then rendezvous
I have no problems with them pinching the melody, I have a problem with PvD taking a lesser known artists track, remixing it, and calling it his own.....then again I think PvD is a muppet
