Bro, I haven't bought a CD for like 4 years now... why? Cuz I can find any song online in MP3 format for free.

I'd rather have cash that I can spend on something else...

I was in the same boat...but my problem was that I couldn't find anything decent to pick up at HMV...thank god they carry the ISOS series...

A large number of certificates? It's only $270 worth of certificates, and that just happened to be my birthday gift from someone... now, I know that even if they were stolen half of you would still buy them, and I wouldn't be selling them for $35-40 each, but for $25 (half price) in order to get rid of them fast.

Also, I cannot accept the offer above ($25 for $50 worth of certificates) because I've had a couple of offers for $40, so until I sort those out, I am not giving these out for that cheap yet...

Ok fine you can get mp3s for free so because of that you stopped buying the album of the artist you love alltogether? Damn...if I like a dj I'll go out and buy his stuff if I have the $ regardless if I can get it off the net because I want to support the Dj. If I like their music why not? Unless you're broke or just don't feel like it. I'd rather have the real deal album/cd wise instead of a copy if I like the artist. Just my op...

And don't get me started on that "support the DJ" thing again, please... do you really think that Tiesto, PVD, Armin and DJs alike need me to buy their CDs too in order to support them?! Is it not enough that I'm throwing $30-40 on a ticket to see them whenever they come by, and that I'm throwing away $15 for each of their records (until recently, when I realized I cannot afford this shite anymore)?? When those DJs start paying me to get into the clubs to see them, that will be the day that I will start buying their CDs... until then, I don't wanna put my foot in HMV!

Being broke and not buying cd's is ok, I mean shit I haven't bought one since Airdrawndagger which I shouldn't have anyway. Well ok for me it's not even about supporting the dj but if I really like the music I would want to have the original in front of me...not some imitation.

I undestand what you're saying.. but check this out - I burn some 3-4 CDs per week and go through three packs of batteries.. I NEED my music! And in my case, I'd rather download and burn (which costs me only about $1 for a recordable CD, or something like a pack of 50 for $35) then buy it altogether cause I have rent, tuition, utilities, food, clothes, parties and travel expences that are a priority. And I am only third year, but in debts for OSAP and bank loan like you wouldn't believe.

3 packs of batteries??! Damn I went through 1 every two weeks or so...then I bought a slim x...no more of that. plus you can burn entire mp3 cd's full of music/sets...woooo. I have to burn that 7 hr Armin set on one of those...

I've got 3 more certificates ($25 worth each) left, and I'll give them for $20 each...
and you can get them from me anytime on the weekend, anywhere in this city, close to subway or downtown.
