Is Pot Noodle 'Cooking'
Well we had this crapy discussion about this in ukta so would putting boiling water on dry powder be classed as cooking?
*coup goes back 4 years*
Aim
To find out if the adding of boiling water is classed as food during the eating of a 'Pot Noodle'
Equipment

(<-- that thing cost 34!!)
(I gave up trying to find a spoon)
Method
To ask someone else.
Conclusion
As im a tight arse, to paste extracts from a chatroom to use as concreate evidence.
So with that scientific evidence if u ate 3 pot noodles with the food 'cooked' with the water then urd be fine, just a little bloated. so if u cant eat them dry, but can eat them wet, then it brings my conclusion that the food must be changed in some way by the water, ands therefore as its changed, this change is called 'cooking'.
I have ultimately arrived at the final conclusion that this was ment to be a 5 minute waste of time but turned into a 40 minute pile of shite in my hunt of a .jpg of a spoon, in which i came across two sites, one with random pictures which dont relate to spoons and one in which a random cock told us all how to make a spoon from a tree, nice.
Plan of Time
ffs fuck it!
LMAO at you Brits

Mmmmmmmm Raw Spicy Curry Pot Noodle...
Coup talks donkey poo
Do you eat noodles with a spoon or a fork?
firstly, you do not use a spoon to eat a pot noodle.. how can you expect to carry out an accurate scientific experiment without the neccessary utensils? a fork is what you require. one similar to this will be sufficient:

now, with the fork in place (your hand), the pot noodle can be efficiently broken down into smaller 'chunks' to aid the water absorbtion process. this is classed as preperation, and therefore means that you have carried out two tasks to achieve the final result of pot noodley goodness.
a single action of pouring water would not be considered cooking. but a combination of two or more actions requires brainpower and coordination, two of the primary skills needed for cooking. thus, i put it to you that by a combination of culinary skills, simple pouring becomes full-fledged cooking/chefery.
so.. yes
Thanks for the useful guide
what a twat

for a stupid dare thing, ive tried to 'consume' pot noodle with a straw, didnt quite work tho...
anyway, me thinks it is cooking, u dont eat raw noodles, that'll just go straight thru ur system, ur insides wont soak up any of the goodness and ur anal will hurt in the morning...
if it is cooking then its the only thing i can cook then!
i was making a packet of chicken noodle soup once, you know the kind where you empty the packet add the water into the pot wait 10mins and then tada instant food! well me being a **** managed to burn soup?! i poured the sachet and powder stuff into the pot lit the gas and forgot to pour in the fucking water! i mean honestly how the fuck can anyone burn soup?!
conclusion
yes adding water means your cooking! if you remember to add the water
The Bombay Bad Boys are evil, they start off nice and pleasant, but by half-way you are beginning to feel the intense heat. I finished it but have never drank so much afterwards!
Pot Noodles are so nineties anyway, I much prefer Micro Noodles, yum!
Naa sod Micro Noodles and all those wanky 'trendy' alternatives. Pot Noodle will always reign supreme.
You must kneed (sp?) the spicy sauce into the noodles, otherwise it just isn't the same! This of course is after you add the water which cooks the noodles. Cooking at it's finest!
Next week I'll teach you how to boil an egg

pot noodle is merely food without the water in, u add the water to moisturise the dried food and heat it up so it doesnt taste like cold shite.
the food is already "cooked".
thus coup ur talking drivvle!

| Originally posted by Coup easy, place 1 x egg into a saucepan and fill with cold water until the water nearly coveres the egg completely. Then (trick of the trade) light a match, let it burn for 5 seconds, and then stub out the flame and place into the saucepan, this stops eggs from cracking during the boiling process. After the water starts to boil, set a timer for anywhere between 3-4 minutes depending on how you like u egg cooked. Tip away the boiled water, and cool the egg for 5 seconds with cold water, chop off the top, break the top yoke seal (to stop the yoke from still cooking and going hard) and then u have a perfect boiled egg ![]() |
no its not cooking! its called being a lazy ass!
if you guys came here to visit me i will cook you all a big meal!!!
