TA getting DOSed on some Random Oakenfold tracklist thread NSFW

Hi all,

If some images are broken and things are acting weird it's because over 200,000+ IPs have been pulling random pages from this Oakenfold tracklist thread

I think the Tiesto EDC ISOS Trance set woke up some troglodyte looking to artificically increase the views on an Oakenfold thread? /s

In the short term, Cloudfare will have that annoying "Human Check" thing show up

(I put NSFW in title cuz only logged in users see these threads)

Hey Swamper - what the fuck is up with the encoding on the site? Anything with accent marks displays all screwy. Fix?

Now, this is more of a question from someone who knows a little rather than an actual diagnosis, but could it be that there isn't a "Meta Charset" tag in the head defining it as "UTF-8" or "Unicode"? I don't understand why it would turn "'s" into "点퐐", but TA is one of the reasons I learned hot to use HTML entities throughout the years.

As a side note, the beauty of this gibberish in Korean is that while the ideogram does mean "dot" or "point", the syllable that comes in sequence means absolutely nothing whatsoever, and I couldn't find a single word with the syllable. So, should someone ever look it up again just for the hell of it, all 퐐 from hereinafter will be TA's to claim. This is us changing world culture. After the Pie Guy, and so much more, we are making contributions to languages most of us don't even speak.

Yup, I'm aware.

It has to do with the character encoding of the database and the site -- the newer format was created after TA came to be and the DB was not converted to support it. That said, with the increase of copy/paste from LLMs, it is something I will get done in July.
