Cool To Be Alternative?

do you think its cool to mascerade as an alternative person? with an atlernative lifestyle, political view etc...?

do people who go round spraying shit about how 'alternative' they are piss you off incredibly?

Those sort of people both me if they overly flaunt the fact around the place just so people will think they are cooler because they like to be different, I have always been different in my own way, but i have never paraded around saying "yeah i do this and this differently so that makes me better"

But yeah it annoys me when people are like "yeah I am Soooo non-conformist" when by saying that they prove that they're conforming to the "cool" alternative view of being unique and seperate from the crowd, when they are actually going along with a crowd...

hope I made sense that sentence could repeat itself over and over again...

another type which shits me are the "OMG Duncan you have an eyebrow and tongue piercing! holy shit that is soo alternative"(or insert other "cool/different" word here). It annoys me cos there's this guy who has meant to say hi to me everyday to introduce himself (he's a friend of my gf) and he hasn't cos apparently I'm scary??? WTF? I look like every other guy out there? and other people I know agreed, they're like "yeah I can see why" because I have 1 visible piercing on my face??? That's just idiotic/naive/ignorant/STOOOPIIIDD!!

oh well, but then again we're just being judgemental....and that's the worst type of person

these people do shit me. I mean, the globalisation protestors complaining about how they are killing democracy and choice, yet they still let the protestors protest. They should hold the meetings in russia, china, north korea, or any other place which deals with protestors so severely that no one protests. Anyway, back to the topic!

I think by listening to trance, we are reasonably alternative. And as long we dont go around telling the whole world, and denouncing other people who dont listen to it since we are more 'elite' than them then thats good.

Me too, i have to put fishing line in my eye and ear. Don't care though i'd rather have them and put up with it monday to friday.

Its fine to be alternative, as long as they respect everybody's thoughts. There's nothing worse than some ass explaining a strange theory or interpretation on life, then shut down some other persons point of view. I just find it funny though, when some of these 'alternative' fellas pull out some totally illogical thought and when argueing, bury themselves in their stupidity
