apparently its pretty good over east, and its coming soon to Perth, 93.7

yeah Sydney nova is ok .. they tend to play mostly 2day fm type stuff (ie commercial crap), but they do tend to play stuff other radio stations won't play..
sort of a midrange between the pop radio station and JJJ .. though much closer to pop radio than JJJ :/

i love listening to nova fm at work, they play the best in barrah house like katie underpants, the sickest rnb and rap eminem is a fucking legend moite, and who could forget the antics of that guy who talks on air like someone's squeezing his pre-pubecent nutsack?

Arr kiss fm be thar bestest pirate (temporary) stashun that has cross-ed the high seas of radio waves.
Saw a dj at bar-humbug on bridge rd with kiss fm stickers on his roadcase, and I had my kiss/dancenet/mossimo vinyl bag, aharr good times to be had.

Nova Melbourne's probably better than all the other radio stations (with the possible exception of Gold 104), but that isn't saying much.
They occasionally just lauch into 3-4 song mixes, and late at night they tend to do longer mixes (still mainly commercial shit though) but sometimes on saturday night (apart from between 10 and 12 when it's all r'n'b) the track list can get alright. Still fairly mainstream, but they'll occasionally drop something that'll suprise you - Flaming June, Cafe Del Mar, the Armin Mix of Janeiro, stuff like that.
But yeah, just don't expect it to change your life.

I still prefer a new political radio station with regular parliament debate like 3 hours everyday....
The beautiful sound of John Howard puts my mind into ease...and fly to the other dimension....
...just imagine Johnny H's voice on the background of...say...Yet Another Day....wouldn't that be great for us aussies...
