Movies to see..

Let's have a thread about good movies that must be watched. Doesn't matter how old or new.. But they must be good.

One of the movies I've seen this weekend was "Requiem for a dream". Definitely one of the movies anyone who's ever touched drugs should watch. Amazing directing, camera work and storyline. The movie is pretty disturbing, but it shows the harsh reality of being addicted to drugs. Very interesting.

Just watched "Amelie" the other day actually. Really good movie.

Just remember another good movie that I watched recently - "A man who wasn't there". Camera-work in that movie is absolutely brilliant.

Out of foreign movies, check out anything with Jean-Paul Belmondo(french). Some of his movies are absolutely brillian(i.e. Professional)

I saw "Das experiment" (The experiment) yesterday and let me tell this might be one of the best movie to appear in north america this year!!! Really nerve breaking and truely awesome!

Its German with english subtitles... I hope you have a repertoire movie theatre in toronto that shows foreign movies

I'll vouch for that one! It actually "works"... woof, woof!! Close 2nd are "9 1/2 weeks (both parts)" and "basic instinct". Good list...

Man, I've read some reviews on this movie, and I wanna see it as soon as possible... I just don't know which theatre (if any) in this city is showing it. Brunette? Can you help?

Oh, yeah.. Carlton cinemas (College & Yonge) 4:15, 7:00
I haven't seen it yet, was waiting for someone to recommend it, although I would go eventually, I rarely miss a foreign movie. If you wanna catch it this week, give me a call.

BTW.. another foreign one showing in theatres now is 'Sex & Lucia'.. interesting and a bit surreal.

I saw the preview for that on Viewer's choice...is it funny?

I thought Van Wilder was hilarious too..lol but nothing compares to Guy Ritchie's two flicks
