What song made you start listening to TRANCE?

What are some of the songs that made u like trance so much that you started to be obsessed with it just like i am?

Actually, I'd have to say it was The Crystal Method that got me into electronic music and eventually trance years ago. I was digging around on napster for something that sounded sorta like TCM when I came across a couple of DJ Tiesto's early Magik compilations. "An hour long song? WTF?"

So I downloaded a couple of them and the rest is history.

It all began back in '91 or so.. with records like T99 - Anasthasia and Quadrophonia - Quadrophonia.. from that moment on my musical preferences developed (via all kinds of genres) to what they are now

I heard CRW - I Feel love (DuMonde Remix) on an advert for some cd and hummed it for about a week until i found out what it was called. i bought the cd (god knows wat it was) and it all went from there.....

agreed. Definately one of the top remixes out there. Just finished listening to it

Well, the first time I really saw it was when I was in a Radioshack and at one of the demo computers they had a 76 minute song on the winamp playlist and I was liek WTF!!!! It was by a DJ Tiesto and I was reallllly weirded out about the lentght. Nothing really happened for a year or so until one of my friends discovered Tags Trance Trip (Best online trance radio station ever, but got shut down by riaa ) I listened to that for a loooong time, and I would have to say one of the first songs I heard was Ian van Dahl - Castles in the Sky. Kinda sad but it was the first one. I still like it imo.

I started out listening to stuff from Antiloop but the song that got me hooked on trance was definately Gouryella- Gouryella.

those would probably be the ones I think got my really interested in all electronic music and then I found I liked trance the best.
