The Amazing Thing About Flutlicht Is

...The unbelievable amount of emotion they can put into hard tunes... They even surpass Dumonde IMHO

Listening to "The Fall" makes me feel really sad... Like I'm in the song... both the melody and the story in the vocals... I don't know, even the name fits (Both in 'Fall' as falling and 'Fall' as the brownish, dry, semi-sad semi-despared feeling of the season), I just get this massive amount of desparation and burden on me... And it's quite addictive.

Flutlicht always put a decent amount of emotion in their tracks, but it feels much more positive in their IvD remix, Ahmea, even Icarus... The Fall is something different...

Sorry for the mumblled posts... I'm just overwhelmed...

i agree although i think the fall is an uplifitng meoldy, a mroe sadder one is their remix of dj air - alone with me.

but yeh, flutlicht are awesome

I know exactly what you mean Flutlicht productions have an amazing ability to create shitloads of atmosphere...and with Isn't It A Little Strange (Krazy Nut Remix) it's just overwhelmingly powerful when it's pitched up a couple and realllllly loud

Isnt it all a little strange and folie a deux can be sad, but I don't think any Dumonde tunes are sad, as they are so full of energy

To each their own, I mean it has different effects on different people. It's a bit like i think prog. is shit and a lot of people like it

there's too much violin action in the first half and a little in the end of the song for it not to be sad. the climax is good but the overall emotion is sad, biatch

there r 3 types of melody imo uplifting, depressing and mellow. i reckon this is a depressive one because the keys go down at the end.

actually when i think of it the melody does both so is open to judgement, but the fall is definatly uplifting!

IMO this is what i get outta this song. . . .

The violins part is like the guy is down and depressed b/c of something/anything. And then the break is like him comming up and bein like "fuck you, you cant keep me down!"

Such a great tune, this is the one that got me full on into Flutlicht!
