How Much Did it Cost for Tiesto Last New Years?

i am curious what it cost last year for Tiesto and Corsten etc on New Years Eve at The Dome last year?

because he is spinning in NYC and the RUMOUR has it, the tix will cost around 300 dollars...and i wanna see what u guys got charged for a BETTER event since u had Corsten and other DJs...

and crasher was 100 quid on millenium eve

so that means at The Dome last year u guys only had to pay like 75 dollars on New Years and got to see Tiesto AND Corsten...but we get robbed in NYC paying 225 dollars MORE then you guys and ONLY get Tiesto...thats bullshit...NYC is a RIPOFF!!!!!

Tickets 50 pounds

about 75 dollars

Lineup was Tiesto, Corsten, Anne Savage, Alex P, Brandon BLcok , DAve Pearce, Judge Jules etc

but I dont know about that $400 dollar ticket tho, no one has confirmed the venue, or if it is a VIP ticket which it surely must be!

how many peopel are at the event, pvd got paid $150,000 to play at GAETCRASHER on MILLENIUM EVE at MIDNIGHT possible the most expensive slot ever. yet tiesto wud only have to play to 100 people to get the same amount if he got half of the ticket money. so obviously ur getting conned too! but also tiesto is a sellout

infact a lot of djs are sellouts this year, for nye they are in places like america, asia and south africa for big bucks.

someone on clubplanet.com forums called the club and asked the price...and he was tolled 250 dollars presale then going up to 500 dollars...

I got my ticket for the Dome last New Years Eve on eBay for just over �30

Not bad for an event with 50,000 people for 14 hours, but the lineup could have been better.

I thought London was rip-off city, 250 dollars in NYC I think everyone should boycott the place so they fork out a fortune for Tiesto and he plays to virtually noone

�100 for Crasher seems a bit gay as well, given it was held in a regular club.

thats some pretty expensive New years. Im happy to say that Max Graham will be spining in Toronto on New years. $40cdn is max they will charge. Although i would definetely pay good money to have a stacked lineup.

If everythinhg is true, and going to see Tiesto may cost $500 then I think that is totally unacceptable. We put DJ's where they are now, and we can easily put them back down by refusing to pay stupid money just to see someone play some music!

well i am going to TRY and get this 100% confirmed today...i am calling the club and asking asround big time...hopefully i will know for a FACT today...

if it is true, like MDMA said, action SHOULD be taken...Tiesto fans should voice their thoughts on this shit...i know BH will get an eamil from me....like it will do anything...but just remind them WHO brought Tiesto where he is today.....his FANS....

I don't think I've ever paid more than �30-40 into a club (that's $45 - $60 to those across the atlantic).

Call me a cheapskate, but I don't think I'd ever pay more than about �60 into a club ($90 US), unless it was over more than one day/night. There's just no point IMO, there are always alternatives, even if it means waiting/travelling. If I lived in a country where events are more rare my attitude might be different, but NYC shouldn't fit into that category.

@tiesto14, keep us updated on the price. If he is charging that kind of money I don't think it's in the spirit of the industry, but let's just wait and see first.

yes as soon as u find out u tell all of TA whether Tiesto is a sellout or mistakes ahve been made and the price was wrong.

remember to ask who else is playing, the lenght of the event etc
