need pasword protection program

Well, I need a software to protect my valuable data as it seems that stupid ppl tend to fcuk with my pc lately. I need something that I can use to add a pasword to e.g. my c dirve, so if someone clicks on c: it will ask for a password in order to allow access, don't know if there is such a thing

better to lock the workstation (win2k, winxp, unix/linux), screen savers are not that hard to "break through"

Question: If you lock workstation, does the screensaver still run after the preset time? (I never use a screensaver)

give your family members there own account so they dont get to your stuff, then set their permissions, set XP to log off when the monitor sleeps or when the screen saver intitiates.

Get BestCrypt, E4E, PGPdisk or something similar and create a virtual encrypted drive. Put all your sensitive files (eg. p0rn) in there.
