thanks, i've had it for so long... btw where in OC are you at?

I think alot of people refer to Robert Miles as dream trance due to www.ishkur.com's guide to electronic music, the guy completely bashes robert miles for this style and doesnt seem to like much trance xcept for acid and that end of the genre. His site is pretty widely viewed so id imagine that could be where some of the people calling it "dream trance" came from.
In reality i think itd be best just tossed in with all the rest of the epic heha.

ah in Costa Mesa I see. Are you attending OCC right now too or what? I might attend OCC next fall.

One quick question: do you happen to DJ?

The term "Dream House" was invented a long time before Ishkur decided to create his guide. This genre was "created" in Italy by Gianni Parrini by 1993. Robert Miles was the most famous Dream House producer, and later on, this genre evolved to the uplifting forms of house and trance known nowadays. That's why you never heard of this term anymore.

Dream my ass!! Haha! I never use that name anyways...

you never hear of this genre becaus it is pretty much dead. There were a few other artists that produced this sort of style but I think they have moved on and joined the others in producing the good old uplifting trance stuff.
Some of these were artists Disco Citizens and Invisible Man.
