Right, it looks like the official thread is going nowhere and I'm bored, so:

Gimme your tunes (URL's only, please) and I'll try to make a mix of them.
The mix can only be so long, though, so if you're a quick poster you'll stand a better chance of getting in (unless your tune is a horrible piece of poo )

So... what are you still waiting for?

I don't really know - I'm not sure what's the deal with remixes of commercial tunes... I don't think there should be a problem, though - it's not like we're going to make profit with this one...

C'mon peeps - I can't work with 5 tracks...

IMPORTANT!!!!

The last submit date will be December 8th. That will leave me plenty of time to work this out before christmas - I am leaving to Czech rep. on the 27th and I have to get this finished before then.

I also need someone to host the mix once it's done, I do not have the space myself.

dont be daft... if ur going to use unlicensed remixes of released tracks, get the permission from the label first (that should really be up to the remixer to do that in the first place). for a start its direct copyright breach.. and you dont really want a label sueing your butt off do u?

armin can get away with it because every label under the sun wants him to remix for them.. + he's rich enough to be able to afford the law suit if they do mind

dont take this the wrong way.. just a bit of friendly advice

i would put a track up, but my best stuff isnt really the type of tuneage u want for this (i think).. although if you were to do a progressive mix then i would be happy to supply you with a track or 2

I ain't releasing it , it's just a "fan remix"
There's plenty of those @ mp3.com.
Ain't no body sueing Rank 1 for their Ligaya remix and they play it in their sets

So I don't see where the problem is.

it is actually illegal to make a remix without permission. as i said before, its direct copyright breach. whether the label will object or not is a different matter... now with rank 1... im sure they r pretty good pals with ferry/armin/tsunami records so they wont care.
