I got the GeForce2 Ti...not a bad card really...runs everything in 1024x768 32bit just fine...

or, just overclock the %*&% out of it 'til it fries, seeing as you may as well upgrade sooner or later

GeForce4 420 GO 32MB here... shite if you ask me. Stupid bastard of a card isn't even the equivalent of a GeForce3 (no DX8 features!)! BLAH!!! No shiny water in Neverwinter Nights!!! BOOO!!! But yeah, it was the best graphics card out for laptops at the time I got mine... now there's the Radeon9000... grr... Oh well, it's still a nice laptop I guess (Toshiba Satellite 5105-S501)

sorry, 3dfx never had much against nvidia... nice framerates, but absolute shit image quality. Not to mention their later boards were like a foot long. Nvidia came along and gave you better framerates with much much better image quality. Not to mention longevity... my voodoo3 was nice, but showed its age rather quickly. My gf3 has been kicking ass since the day I got it almost a year and a half ago. It still does any game in high quality just fine.

yeah 3dfx were good, but it's not nvidia fault, geforce 2 is a good card but the game developers make games who can't be played on the 'outdated' graphic cards

got a geforce 4 ti 4600 myself!

Yes. Old Geforce card sux, but still it has enough power to
run games. One way to increase speed of your Geforce is to overclock it. You should have EXPERtool software on your driver CD. Whit this program you can increase Core Clock and Memory Clock speed. You can't burn you Geforce card, because if you set speed to high your GF freez in the game. Then restart your computer and set speed little lower.

If you are going to overclock GF try starting whit Memory Clock speed.
Memory Clock speed has more effect on game speed than Core Clock speed.

After you installed software, EXPERTool icon will appears in the right corner of the system tray:

Then choos PREFORMANECE

As you can see, there you can increace core and memory frequencies.
By increase core and memory frequencies you can get extra 10-40% speed.

ive been a long time user of Nvidia...i had an old RIVA TNT, and now RIVA TNT 2 PRO haha the only thing is that WIN XP doesn't really function properly with the video card thus no games can be played also...my buddy has a Geforce 4 Asus 64MB DDR and its a really sick card! for Medal of Honour: Allied Assualt he can get the max out to 1024x768 32-bit with high details and the game looks very goood.
im waiting for my Geforce 4 Ti 4600 either by Asus,Msi, or Gainward..the 2 best companies...
