Do You Play Any Musical Instruments?

Just wondering if any of you in here play any musical instruments. If you do play one, what do you play? Did you take classes for it or did you learn from books?

i played trumpet for 3 years in jr. high and one day i realized i really sucked at it so i gave up

i think i might have taken some special help classes for it at one time but i know that didnt help.

Played the piano (classically) and keyboards (MIDI) for almost 10 years... I've stopped now due to hectic lifestyle, I do however plan on returning hopefully in the near future (especially MIDI sequencing). I was also self-taught.

Let's see...I play all 4 saxophones, clarinet and bass clarinet, bassoon, classical percussion...I think I play too many. haha. My mom bothers me all the time to get into a creer in music..I say no

I've been playing the piano for about 8 years, and drums for 5, I played bass for a while, but didnt have enough time for it + i sucked, at one point i played the flute, but again didnt have the time and I didnt really enjoy it.

piano for a lllllllllloooooooong time...mum majored in piano
cello also for a good couple of years
clarinet (school)
guitar (brother)
hopefully ill learn to spin

instruments are good and fun to play with

played 12 years of violin... (ARCT degree)
7 years of trombone... (top jazz band student 4 years in a row in high school!)
3 years of guitar...(self-taught)

i also know how to play the bongoes, triangle, snare, bass drum, xylophone, gong, cymbals, woodblock, catanas, shakers, tambourine, temple blocks, kalimbas, cabasas, maracas, rain sticks, rattle sticks, clave, chimes, bells, sleigh bells....

i think that's it

Piano (started by myself and then had 6 months correcting all my errors... I produce most of my tunes on the piano actually... then I use the keyboards / software).
Decks (I didn't have the chance, but I'll sure learn one day )

well i widnae say it was the piano more like a key board but that was in 1st year at high school when your main aim was to piss of the teacher as quickly as possible! usually running your hand across the full keys of the keyboard at full volume did the trick! but i thought id sound more respectable saying it that way LOL
