Room lighting help...

Hey guys i want to light up my room with some dim lights, sorta like mood lighting and i wanted to know if anyone had any ideas or inputs on this. I want to put them on my walls and perhaps make shapes or trails or something. I want my room to look like that house form N. Lampoon's Chirsmas Vacation-heh j/k. So can someone help me here. Where to go, what to get? I know christmas lights could be used, but i havent seen them in deep blue yet (my fav), and i really would prefer running lights, it would look hot with da music and my girly would love it too.

Well I think the colour should definatly be a mild blue.
It's so comfortable on the eyes. It's puts you in a reeeaaly nice relaxed mood. My friend had it in his room once.

It's a pleasure sitting in blue light.
