Binary !!!!!!

This was a party for real trance fans...

Not that shranz, Tech, Progressive, or house shit...

This was a party for people who really really LOVE TRANCE!

Last night I witnessed the most energy and enjoyment from a performer
In my Life! From the get go this guy was into it, this was crazy because there was only 30 or 40 people in the whole place. He was just happy to play his music straight. And did he ever.

His beat matching was flawless and his set flowed perfectly. He stayed on for about 2.5 hours. Every time a song would break or a hard beat would drop he would slap one of our hands in enjoyment. It was nice seeing a few Ta's down there (Jamie and his friend from trancenu.com(she was cool what was her name again?) Tae and Owku (his girlfriend) The Goa rave upstairs was to slow and seemed like just an excuse for people to get mangled.

----Special thanks to Tae for doing an after party at his place (1.5 hour set ) Your awesome man!

I don�t have much more to say..... When Tae gets his computer going he'll post a review.

And just to get things straight

You Sucks Missed Out!

oh ya I almost forgot. After his set Tae, his girlfriend me and Bianaty went round for round and got pounded

first of all, the place sucked... the sound wasnt great, wack lights, and really wack residents... there werent many ppl there, but the crowd was ok.. and the overall vibe was pretty good thruout the night.. we get there around 12:45 and some resident is playing some tech-trance.. then around 1 binary finary gets on(this white guy with long dreads and glasses..) and the journey of trance begins..... wow.. i think i said more OMG !!! then fox and amit ever did here on TA lol...this guy was just playing sick melodic trance one after another.. he played Nightrider like 20 mins into the set and closed it with what else?? 1998 !!! and in between, some sick fucking trance i swear it totally restored my faith in trance...after the set i got to chill with him for a while and he(rick) was cool as fuck... me and john bought him a couple of beers and talked about some stuff.. i asked him about the tracks he was playing and he said it was all unreleased original productions... i told him i was interested in getting all the tracks he played in any format(12" cds mp3s dats...) then he goes off to find a poster for that night's event and a marker,then gives me his home phone # in england !! he also told me that binary finary's official releases were only 1998 and Nightrider.. and 1999 and 2000s' are just all unofficial remixes that the lables put out.. he also told me that there is and unreleased original track by binary finary called 1997!!! overall just an amazing night listening\dancing to the music that i love, and also got to talk to someone who shares the same passion for...trance....

Reading the reviews reminded brought back some YUMMY memories of Binary in Toronto. Same deal in Toronto, small venue, not packed, but good vibe and the best uplifting melodic madness that is trance you ever heard in a live PA - which is way better than a standard spinning set, if you have the right guy, e.g. Binary Finary.
