whats the deal with these 'reconstructions' ? are these songs ripped from livesets and then somehow fixed up at the beginning and end or what. do explain

yup. thats exactly what it is. If a track isnt going to be released, sometimes people do what uve just said, and reconstruct the full track by taking it from within a liveset, or on the radio, and sticking an intro and an outro on it.

Since I haven't done basically any music creating/editing myself, I have to give all of the recons props for everything that they do. I can only imagine how much time and difficulty it takes to first find a good rip and to take out all the trash that makes it sound live.

Besides, they feed our rabid hunger for the newest music especially when we can't get it

Are reconstructions the ultimate compliment to the talented producers out there who have not released their music yet? I tend to think so.
