Problems finishing productions

ok I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I shure do

everytime I create a song i start out really well and all that shit....it all goes well untill i get to the mainpart of the song...then it's like I don't have a clue on how to finish the song.....I just loose the interest for the song instead....now i have something around 10-15 songs just waiting to get finished but I never get the inspiration and lust to finish them....what tha hell is my problem?

just wait some time and inspiration will come back, it all depands on how time u spend on ur studio, if u have been creating all day long inspiration will disapear, i make tracks in small portions, it gives me time to think of what ill come with next...

Yup me too. Not really cos of lack of inspiration or anything, I just get lazy or start a new project, even if I think it's sounding good

I have the same problem...Most of the time they will sit for about a month then I'll come back and finish them...normally I'll hear a track I haven't heard before (Ex: I heard dumonde - can u dig it, Alex D'Elia vs E-Bop Allstars - Isn't Life Wonderful (Vocal Mix), Alex Bartlett - My Angel (Renaissance Mix) & Ladytron - Light&Magic Album...all stuff I've heard for the first time in the past 2 weeks) They have had me mixing, mastering, staring tunes...

The trick is not to spend too much time on the song, if you do that, you get really bored of your production and really fast. So what can you do about it? Try working less on it daily and perhaps work on multiple tracks at once so that your inspiration never extinguishes.

You could also work on seperate melodies, beats and whatnot and then merge the ones that fit the most into one as a track.

If only I ever had that problem - sometimes I feel I release every damn half-assed tune I do
