give credit where credit is due......
do u think that djs that are underrated/new, put more effort in theyr work as of djs who are superstars???????
if so can u name some???
me
Subsunday (Subsunday-So Good)
Rusch and Murray (Rusch and Murray-Epic)
got these both on CDRs. CHOOOONS!
It depends... the fact is that often, when the producer gets famous, he's under a lot more pressure and sometimes he might come with some not-so-good tunes whenever he doesn't have the time to do a good job (but has got to release something).
I think....
I've been producing four years now and no one has given me a chance. My tunes are professionally made but I play with new ideas and I dont have stupid blone bird singing about bullshit on them. Its about money today - not talent and thats the big problem.
As for Dj'S if they play good stuff, mix well and have time for their fans (such as Tiesto, ferry, sasha) then I'll go see them.
Matt Hardwick, Guy Ornadel, Dave Lea
prototrance, be interested to hear some of your stuff
Would love to get it out to people, how though???
I could cut up an MP3 of one of my new ones and attach it to a post. Would that work in this forum - or do I have to do it in the producers forum?
your best off getting a little webspace and uploading and posting a link in the producers forum
I tell ya what mate, I Computers when it comes to tunes, VST synths sequencers etc. But as soon as we get in to web page, setting up links etc etc I'm shafted.
If I figure anything out I'll PM you.
Cheers
Nick
I have found some great producers on mp3.com, no one really gives those guys much of a chance. Although ppk I guess is now getting some exposure and this other guy, Mike Olson (Guardians of the Earth), had one of his songs mixed on PvD's Politics Of Dancing CD. There is a lot of other talent there too, I think it's a great way for lesser known artists to get their music up and availiable. Maybe this would help you prototrance if nothing else works out.

Cheers mate, I'll check it out
Most underrated DJ : Guy Ornadel

It makes sense that most new/unknown DJs have to put forth alot of effort in what they do....they've got to get their name out there if they want to be sucessful. Can't say that already established DJs don't work hard, though. I can't do what they do
