Diving into vinyl

Only recently have I been close to a record store as well as to decks I can use (Technics no less), so I decided a couple weeks ago not only begin purchasing vinyl but also to start a hobby of spinning. I've been meaning to for a while. Up to this point I wasn't sure if I would go with it since a decent collection of records can be expensive, so I bought a good number of used vinyl to start with. At first I bought a few. Then more. In short, I'm hooked.

I was surprised by some of the used records I came across for three dollars or so each:

Blank & Jones - Cream (for the PvD remix, of course) [deviant]
Liquid Art - Liquidgroove [Hook]
Matt Darey pres. DSP - From Russia with Love (w/ Solar Stone & Oliver Lieb mixes) [liquid asset]
Christopher Lawrence - Renegade [Hook]
Liquid Art - Magnetic North [Hook]
Cygnus X - Superstings (Deep Dub!) [Radikal]
Subterfuge - Prana [React]
Cygnus X - The Orange Theme (good, but a pain to mix) [Arcade America]
X-Cabs - Infectious Remixes [Hook]
X-Cabs - Cut To Zero/Activate [Hook]
Christopher Lawrence - Shredder [Hook]
Dharma - Transway/Seleau [Musicnow Records]

As you can tell, I like Hook.

Anyhow, does anyone know a set of tuntables that can be bought at a decent price? I can't afford Technics, but can't continue using my friend's decks indefinitely.

yet another one...
anywho, this has been discussed in the past
if anything, your best bet would be to search for something like "cheap decks" or "cheap turntables"
i can't remember anything that was posted off the top of my head
i know there was a thread about this like last week, maybe check the next page of threads?
but if you are looking into getting cheap turntables, make sure they have enough torque and the pitch control is alright
i went the way of cheap TTs to start (i had to start playing that very instant)
but now i'm kinda regretting it
sure it gave me a lot of practice
but in the end, my mixing has kinda reached a plateau and i really can't go anywhere until i upgrade my setup
currently i'm running
2 Numark TT-1520s
and a Gemini PS-525 mixer
and Sony MDR-V500 cans

i bought everything like 5 months ago, not even...
and already i'm looking to upgrade
so if you're serious, i reccomend going for the good stuff right off the bat
i started mixing on my friend's TTs too, i suggest just doing that for as long as you can
spend your money on records
i have a friend who is a pretty established local dj, and he's never owned his own pair of TTs
all he owns are his records and headphones
that's it

hey man we have the same setup !! except that my mixer is 626-Pro, my headphones are shitty too but its close

Just wanted to add to the fact that the pitch is fucked up on mine it's so much work but i love it because i got it like a month ago and im getting a lot of practice.
Sure it's challenging but i like the challenge.

Also Records are a pain in the ass if you have a terrible job like me, get as many as you can

yes, the pitch isn't accurate enough and it like to drift
as well, it's very stupid in between +1 and -1
they're good enough that i can play on them, but during the mix, i'm constantly adjusting
