HOLY FUCK!!!!!

That's insane, and they're giving other groups ideas.

I feel sorry for those people. I bet the people getting fined are just students or something too...

such a shame.

Posted by jinxed84 on Nov-27-2002 01:26:

OUCH they would hit me with such a huge bill. and my mp3 collection is small (1500 or so files) compared to some of the people here with like 9000. .....ouch

Posted by Greedy on Nov-27-2002 03:54:

well, this isnt happening only in america after all

Posted by Kimmi on Nov-27-2002 05:07:

The article has a point....the group doesn't have definite proof. Who is that group backed by? The Dutch government? Damn greedy pop stars...

They're actually hurting some artists by fighting to stop file sharing. I know I won't go out and buy music anymore unless I hear some of it online first. Is anyone else the same?

Ohhhh those Dutch rebels are a force to be reckoned with, I tell ya

And yeah, I feel bad too. I think it's pretty crummy that the agency is doing that.

I never was good at geography

Its pretty shit that they're going after the user and not the P2P program. I suppose they see it that it's their only way to stop piracy, which is fair enough if you see it from their point of view. They still make shit loads and so does Sharman networks.
Fat Bastard Greedy Companies!
Unfortunatly we can't do a great deal to stop them.

Yeah, honestly, it'll hurt alot of artists. Plus they're givingthemselves a bad image. They go around saying they do things "for the fans" and they turn around and do this crap? And I'll bet money that it's the really popular musicians who are behind this
