Tronic Treatment: Vath and Hawtin Review

Well alls I can say is its good to be back in NY. WOW

Got there at 11:30 and went into Baktun listened to some good techno. Thought The place had a good vibe to it, nice set up, loud. And I must Say Its good to see a place with no dress code bs, basically a very chill place.

Well I thought I was in the right spot, but then was told that we had to go next door, ended up going next door (Filter), waited on line for an HR, missed Vaths Set. Finally got in and MAN

Hawtin was Amazing, Banging Techno Hard , Tweaking the sound nasty, adding samples, fucking with his computer, slamming the bass in and out. The place was wall to wall people, and had a great vibe. SICK REMIX of Legowelt - Disco Rout. Did a great job of chilling out with some tech house , i would call it, not sure maybe acid house. But Next Time need to meet up with Some TA's

I got there at 3:10 am.. and i must say that -again- hawtin was too slow and too quiet for me. The place was PACKED though! I had a better time at baktun. Filter was overcrowded.

I left at 4:20. A happy man

I left at around 3 and it looked like he was going that way. I was really surpirised he came on that hard.

I got back from Shakira concert in Long Island too late. Shakira was PHENOMENAL! I had fantastic seats, 11th row She's the female Elvis. She played the guitar, drums, harmonica and danced barefoot.
NO lavish sets or dancers just Shakira.
