Hey guys..

What the majority of club goers think about glowsticks? Personally, I love them, but if the music isn't right, they just don't work for me.. However if the DJ plays PVD/Tiesto-type of trance, I'm in a complete euphoria.

So what's your opinion of glowsticks in general? Do you like them in clubs? Do you use them yourself? Are there any cool videos of people using glowing stuff inside clubs or raves? After seeing this 1.4mb clip, I'm getting really curious about others like it.

hehe..i love glowsticks...been stickin fur about 2 years now. i think they're the best, and definately one of the best things...aneeways, i go clubbin a lot, especially in europe and japan, and people in clubs usually don't mind, but they don't adore it like ravers do...some might not like it at all in a club, especially like a hip-hop or rb club...otherwise, most people are really impressed at the stuff you can do. if the vid you saw was a vid of glow stringing or swinging, then thats a different story...swinging glowsticks on strings is referred to as swinging, and is usually frowned upon in clubs..most definately frowned upon, mainly because of the lack of space...definately save this one for your house or a rave...lates

i personally dont use them...i love to dance...and well i just think they would get in ma way or whatever...thats just me though...but their interesting to watch...specially when their on strings..

When I wuz at innnercity last year everyone had them there were thousands of them and everyone started throwing them DAMN that was a beautiful sight. Banging tunes and the air filled with glowing sticks. Sucks to get one on yer head though. There is a video of IC that u c them flying (dont know if u seen it) but It was a damn cool sight.......................yeah whatever man.....later.....peace...doggggg

o yeah btw I dont use em myself only if people throw em at me I through em back hehehhee

Yeah, I'v seen it too... was during Paul van Dyk I think?
At first I didn't notice it were glowsticks, thought it was a lasershow... DOH!

In a club, you won't see me holding one. I've grown out of them or something, and they kind of annoy me, and I couldn't see me running around with a glow stick in each hand now. I think I've just moved on from those times when I was 16. No offense to everyone here

I like em - but not at a club. even if ppl just holding em movin their hands - I dont see the point. They seem to fit in more at a goa/psy rave or a big outdoor camping style event. Even at a more "regular" rave - not that interested

......but they can be fun

POI! that shit is awesome man, espicially fire poi, but to me stringin and poi is the same damn thing..i can do some poi and im alot better with my hands though.. i love glowsticks, but i dont need them.. but there just so awesome and i love it when everybody is glowsticking with me, just makes everything more colorful and better to me.

and i havnt seen this innercity vid/pic's yet..and to me it sounds l ike a must so im going to go and try to find them now=) hehe..

poi? have ya heard of stringing? it's the same thing. if not it's where you take arm-length string/rope/stringy object and attach what is called a meteor or glowstick on the end. then you swing it around in a certain fashion and it's like a mini lightshow happenin' around you. looks awesome.

I like glow sticks.... but its better when you go tto a club or event and they throw tons of them to the crowd all the same color..so the crowd looks off the hook

Club here in Vegas used to do that ..CLub C2k.... threw tons of blue glowsticks int he crowd and the whole crowd dancing with the glowsticks its amazing!!!
