Hybrid - Celebrity Science

Wicked breakbeats....drving, pounding feel with that elegant Hybrid touch.
Not exaguratting or anything, but Hybrid has got to be one of the most innovative, creative and awesome acts in electronica, hands down. I first heard about them a few years ago, but I never knew that they could put out quality after quality at this pace. EVERY one of their tracks(whether it be remixes or original productions) gets a thumbs up from me...shit, both thumbs!

Fucking awesome. The flipside's 'Gravastar' is nice too...

dJohn i agree with you 100%!! I first heard the song on their Kiss100 set from this year, ya shoulda seen me.. goosebumps all over as the breakdown came in then 30 seconds later it was abruptly ended with Kiss100 commercials!! It was as if someone just pulled back on the record and cut he power..massive anti-climax!! hahahah..ah well, now that i've got it its been played many times per day Gravastar is sweet as well..more chilled n proggie!! The new album is going to be album of 2003, no shit.. i cant imagine anyone else churning out the same level of quality that Hybrid do!!

Another class act from the boys though and I like their new direction - more progressive than their earlier stuff. Let's hope it continues.

I just heard this for the first time yesterday and it completely kicked my ass. Almost everything these guys touch is gold. I also really liked Gravastar, more progressive but that's my taste I like the direction they are going with these much more than what they did w/ Visible Noise.

Cant wait for their album in early 2003! In an interview on their site one of the guys said they are experimenting with a darker sound. I hope it proves to be good.
