hey, i just though of idea with mp3s & audiogalaxy...i'm gonna try it in a minute & see if it works tonite!
anyway...you leave audiogalaxy satellite running on ur home computer...just as i do
then when ur at uni or work, or anywhere with web access...you can search for songs & add them to your status queue!!!! that way, where ever you are...you can d/l songs to your computer hahahaa....man, i can be mp3 freak 24/7, even away from home

it will prolly moan @ u for running two satalites for the one user, and if u try and cue them up @ uni, i reckon it will download them there too coz the download folder cant be put on to a set IP or anything... has to be a local directory

ahh it works!!!
u have the satellite running at home, of course uni is on unix, but u don't need (shouldn't) have the satellite runnnig where-ever else you are (away from home).
because audiogalaxy works thru web, you can queue from anywhere on the web & it will d/l to your satellite (at home)!!!!

i just got home & the mp3s that weren't off-line (ie. were available) have all been completely downloaded

huh...i wonder if they accept "spent too much time d/l music" as excuse for failing subject?

That's a great feature Didn't know about it. Guess i'll use that a lot when i'm at school and get adsl. For now i'm stuck with isdn with payment for every second spent on the net
