DJing alias

when you mix, what alias do you go by?

i had gone thru a couple of really cheesy aliases...and up until recently, whatever i would record, i would go as Acid John

i am also toying around with the name LSDj.

for me, i am trying to find a name that suits the style of music i play, rather than something that just sounds catchy.

cuz i play acid/hard trance...LSDj, or Acid John work well.

there's what name i go by, and why...

..anyway..

U can experiment with excisting djs/producers names..like instead of space frog; use acid frog..or instead of cosmic gate; acid gate or gate 303..umm..trance generators --> acid generators..I think u get my point here, so there's no reason to come up with more for now.

I think having aliases is pretty cheesy as a whole. Just use my standard normal name given to me by my parents. Though it does sound German and people have asked me if I am German too!!!

maybe when i get good i'll switch to a shortened version of my real name, DJ Adam gh. but who knows. all the good dj names are taken anyway...

all a dj name is, is a reference...honestly you could use anything and it wouldn't alter people's view on you if you spin good tunes

yeah I heard the new MOS annual 2k3 was mixed by "DJ" Sammy, although I think whoever did mix it did a crappy job of it.
