Who would u rather have in your team?

Two players on fire at the moment, Ruud van Nistelrooy or Thierry Henry?

Here's how I see it,

It appears to me that 95% of van Nistelrooy's goals are scored while he's standing around the box and the ball comes to him. I won't fault him for that, he gets the job done.

On the other hand, Henry is much more versatile. Sure he gets lucky bounces now and then, that's part of being a good striker, but he scores goals where he seems to do a bit more work than Ruud. Don't forget his free kick abilities

To further contrast their contributions, van Nistelrooy's last hattrick came in a 5-2 win for his team. Henry's last hattrick came in a 3-1 win for his team.

For the above reasons, and also the fact that he's just a better player, I would select Theirry Henry.

i would go for ruud too, he doesnt miss as many chances as henry does. He has two great feet. Doesnt have the same blistering pace as Henry tho, if he did he would be the complete striker!

if one of them were injured i would like to think that i could have Ruud to back them up, he is a goal freak! and a master of the game, you would tink Shearer told him hoe to play!

Henry is too big headed and is a bad looser as seen against Newcastle United near Christmas 2001

hahahahahaha what a joke, Heskey has to be the most over rated player in the league ! To answer your question, Henry anyday, not only is he quicker than Van Nistelroy but he creates alot more chances than Ruud does. Although Henry doesn't finish as well as Van Nistelroy, he has better ball control and score a goal from absolutely nothing.

Are we talking about the best player in England. I would say Mr Thierry Henry and I can add Sir Patrick Viera. These two guys give to Arsenal the full success of this team, and it's always a pleasure to see them playing, they are so fast, so technical and so physically strong.

and I too think Heskey is brutal, and I don't understand why Sven calls him up for NT duty

Englands best possible current combo up front would be Shearer & Owen

but fortunetly for the Geordies, he's concentrating on playing for his club, and the results have been great. And who better to teach all the young talented kids at Newcastle???

(Viana will be a great player) and along with Dyer, Jenas, Ameobi, Bellamy, Lua-Lua and a few others gives newcastle a very talented young nucleus
