for some time now everytime i open up my browser no matter what page opens up ill get like ton of popups with no close out box ..and sometimes ill get like 50 - 100 come up .... and its not a certain site that does this its no matter what site i load up ....so i was wondering could this be in my mahcine like a virus or programm someone made thats just annoys the fuck out of people or what ...and is there a way to get rid of this shit and i know there are pop up killers but im curious because this happens to no matter what site i load up to ..... pisses me off and some are pop ups and u cant close them out or anything until its fully loaded so i have like 5 -6 of them then im screwd i usually control alt dlt to manually delete them but sometimes that deletes every explorer window... does anyone have any knowledge of what this can me?????

I don't know what your problem could be

but I suggest you run ad aware and try to get whatever you can off of that computer

that might help for a start

you should clear your cookies.

It might be a cookie that is prompting all the pop-ups.
In IE 5.5 click on Tools, then 'Internet Options', click on Settings, then View Files. You will see all your cookies.

When you delete your cookies, you will lose some preferences on some sites. For example, if you have your password saved for some site (like tranceaddict), you will have to Sign in again. The same would apply for other sites. So you may just want to delete the cookies of sites you dont recognize (and any porn sites you dont want your parents to know you visited).

actually non of the pop ups are porn material ..i cleaned out the cookies and it went away but after 2 or 3 times opening explorer there it was again ..and the cookies are full

ever since i installed xp pro, ive had nothing but problems. DONT use a pop up stopper. u will get banned from a lot of sites.
