Tracks that don't sound interesting.. then.. BAM!

Hi,

When I first got my hands on Flutlicht - The Fall, I thought it was pretty shitty and totally overrated. I listened to it twice or thrice, and then put it away.

Today, I happened to hear it by accident...

...BAM!!!

It totally hit me and I realise how amazing it is. I don't know why this happens, but it just does. 4 Strings - Into the Night did that to me as well.

Does this happen to any of you? I'm weird

LOL

i must still be in that stage where i think Flutlicht's The fall sucks

Yeah, such things always happen to me too -- I guess it depends on your mood...

It happens when you already have an opinion about it before actually having heard the tune. Happened to me many times, when I was like "Bah, this stuff must be something overrated", and them "Oh my sweet god, this is quality!"

yea, happened to me before
mood and hype affect your opinion and sometimes you just really have to listen to the music to appreciate it

I disagree. I want to like every track that I hear. But it does happen to me a lot; e.g. Delerium - Silence (Tiesto Remix)-believe it or not- I didn't like it at all the first month or so that I heard it. Then I was listening to Magik 6 one night and I fell asleep while listening to it. 'Silence' woke me up (the irony) and I heard the crowd going absolutely wild. That's when it became one of my favorites of all time.

i didn't like the tiesto mix at first because i liked the sanctuary mix and didn't think the tune needed a remix, but when i just started listening to it properly i liked it a lot aswell

Man, thats exactely what has happened to me! Same experience with Lost tribe - gamemaster (fell asleep during boundaries of imagination and woke up witht his beauty in my ears) AND, and I regard this as one of my most emotional moments in my life, when I suddenly woke up and heared the grand final of Sasha's ibiza cd. Natious amber had me in tears, Im serious
