Best Club In The World........

another no point thread but i havn't seen one, so i though i'd make one.

whats all your opinions on the best club, thats open now (not litrialy), why u like it and good reasons which could make it the best club in the world & anything worth commenting on.......

well this is likely to be skewed by personal opinion, but...

as today marks the 26 of 28 day countdown til im 21, ill say Soma in Boulder, Colorado.

it isnt a superclub like crasher, cream or anything in ibiza, but its Nick Warren's fav place to play in the US. it regularly attracts the likes of Sander K, Hybrid and Way Out West(of course). and its not actually a club, but a lounge where you get to see some badass prog DJs spin on the ground floor several feet(one meter) in front of you. yeah, its intimate. hehe

aesthetically, Code (Godskitchen) in birmingham is by far the best club I've ever been to, everything about the way it looks is excellent. But it attracts complete wankers, which is a real shame
So on the whole the Republic (Gatecrasher) is better

ive never been in europeen clubs but in my city (montreal)
the best club is the ARIA
very nice place, looks very good
and it the only place in canada with a nice lineup
many many very well known dj spun there

you have to be joking me.. the vibe there is TERRIBLE. ya its big, it has a good sound system and has some lazers but the crowd and the crew are so unfriendly, so cold and so uneducated (accept for the hundred or so ta's..) oh and down right ugly. And what i really hate about the government is the 5th floor glassed in dj booth you need binoculars to see. There is absolutely NO dj crowd interaction. The relationship becomes distant and impersonal. I havnt been to koolhouse so maybe its different there. (but then again kool house really isnt really a dance club)

Damn so the two best clubs in the world are in Buenos Aires. The world i guess is missing out.

Having been to all the clubs in england and after having gone to Ibiza for the last 4 years i can honestly say the best club i've been to is

Home - Sydney (Australia)

It's located right on the water and has a wicked lighting/sound system. The layout of the club is spot on too. Unfortunately the music there is shit. I went on a friday night and it was supposed to be hard house and trance. The dj's were shit and the crowd all looked like they were 17 and on their first pill. Saturday night had a better crowd but the music was funky house-not my thing.
In terms of the venue though, it can't be beat, Privilige in Ibiza, Gatecrasher in london etc don't come close

I think like you said, the world is missing something out. Last week Creamfields BSAS 2002 was held in the Divino Sobremonte Disco [and yoiu know what creamfields meands].
And referring to PACHA, every weekend a famous dj is brought to spin.
Ex.Nick Warren - Sander Kleinenberg - John Digweed - Steve Lawler - Layo & Bushwacxka... And a lot more... Every week !

Home Sydney is the best club Ive been to, since Ive only to been to big clubs here in Sydney. I must agree though the setting is quite unique and the fact that its right on Darling harbour adds to the atmosphere !
