Sad Whatever happend to...

Transa?

ok, he brought out an EP at the start of the year, but that jsut had a progressive tracks on? has he made anything new, or remixes? is he still making the more proggy style?

i used to love his stuff from before, liek transtar, supernova, enervate, prophase

Good question, the last thing I'm aware they did is their remix of Gouryella - Tenshi. Which was excellent.

Their best ever track is still enervate, Guy Ornadel dropped it a few weeks ago in Progress, I went wild!!

Whats this E.P called you have??

P.S - They are two scottish brothers.

Er, where've you been? They recently put out a whole 2CD album called Chronology. And the vinyl they released earlier this year was Nightstalker with Marcato on the flip. Marcato is great!

the last time i visited their site, they were selling their synths, haha...

i can't believe the group that made some of the most uplifting tracks EVER could turn 180 degrees and make a bunch of progressive tunes. its unreal. not that their latest tracks suck, its just not my style.

i really hope they'll go back to making melodic/uplifting stuff. every time i hear their remix of sparkles, and especially their remix of tenshi, i just can't believe it. the tenshi remix has to be one of the best songs ever made.

They dont seem to be pumping out a ton right now... but their too damn good to go away!

Their style has changed more towards "Deep Trance" as I call it, dark and moody Hook Recordings style. It's not exactly full on uplifting anymore but to me it's very good and still easy listening and most people that are into uplifting stuff should enjoy "Nightstalker" and their new remix of Nat Monday - Destiny. Their new sound fits more to the classic Hook style. Actually their new sound has gone kinda back to their original Hook Recordings roots because before they produced uplifting anthems like "Supernova" and "Carla's Theme" in 1999, back in 1996-1998 their sound wasn't that uplifting really either. Have a listen to "Prophase" from 1996, "Enervate" from 97 and "Behind The Sun" from 1998. All of these are darker and more like Christopher Lawrence productions and are closer to the style their producing now than the style they were most common with in 1999 in my opinion.

Checked there website last night, and some info about "Chronolgy" album being out. I like the old style Transa better, never mind

I heard Nightstalker and it disappointed me a lot. sounds too mortal-kombat-theme inspired.

Transa recently finished a remix of Destiny by Nat Monday.
