well, after looking very good at them, i believe they are.
try take a screenshot and compare the 2 squares, you'll be surprised.

Yeah I posted that squares one a while ago, it's the most unbelievable optical illusion I've ever seen, but I've checked and they are the same colour!! cho a piece out of square A and move it over square B, it'll look like its changing colour as you move it!

ok i hate to dissapoint you people but those squres are NOT the same shade of colour! I did a screen dump of that whole image, pasted it in paint, then cut square A and moved it next to square B, and now i know they are DEFINETLY not the same shade!!!!!

do it yourself for my sake please!

I just checked, and they ARE the same. It'd be a little more amazing if it werent cg. I mean, I could manipulate a picture of myself so that Im purple under shadows, hardly amazing.

Well, I did it myself and here are two pics that prove it. I just took a piece of square b and moved it up a bit.

see thats what i did, but instead i moved A to B. and it is definetly not the same! ARGH im going crazy here... plz ignore this post, i know i am wrong, maybe its just taht ive convinced myself that it isn;t the same shade and so my mind wont let me think otherwise!

Using a graphical editing program, I found that both squares are about RGB 108,108,108.. Very nice trick
