M.M.D.C. - No More Rain (Thomas Datt remix)
Sorry I didnt put a link up here. I just wanted to see how many of you would be interested in having it in your collection. After my remix of Heavens Caliber, I have a feeling there will be quite a few of you that will want this.
Its been finished for about 2 weeks now, but I kept it under low profile. Those lucky enough to have it say its better than the original in many ways.

But i bet your work isn't better than the original, cause that's a goal which is hard to reach.
BTW: What has happend to your contact to Blackhole,Thomas? Are u signed to Blackhole now?
Don't like the original too much, but I'm always open for listening to stuff so yeah, why not!

Ok! I'm the first to respond after hearing the tune! hooha!
First off, great job on the remix Thomas, although it's not TOO far off from the original melody wise, and alot of the same sounds/samples etc. were used, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.. the tune is longer than the original, which is good! The percussion was well done, although I thinkn the snare is a lil funny, maybe its just that im not used to it, but it sticks out a bit... Another lil complaint is the melody you start around 3:14, you know when it hits n such, well I think you end up fading it too soon, you maybe shoulda let it go a few bars longer cause it seems like such a tease! The breaks are golden, I love em.. and the bassline fits nicely too...
Overall a very nice tune, good quality, well done!
Great remix, like the breakdown alot! Nicely produced and laid out with a good bassline and excellent break beats section
you're totally right about the lead being too short
ive been thinking about that for a long time, but it is a great tease esp on the dancefloor
i might consider to drop it in for a few more beats, but then it will make the track about 30 secs longer.... which doesnt sound a lot now... but i kept adding and adding and made it a bit to long, so i think

First off, I likes this better than the original!
OKs... Mmm... At times it seems like the intro is too long, but once it hits the break... Wow, a damn fine work for sure!
Only the kick seems a bit too loud for the gentle synth...

sounds very nice.. i like the breaks and the bassline is sweeet. however this is a remix built on cutting/pasting samples from the original.. dunno if i like that..
even so, its going to pvd this week
if he likes it then no one will give a crap that its based on cutting and pasting
in case you havent noticed, pvd has been doing this for a while now
with his "reworks"
