unfortunately they don't cancel work for snow. but i stayed home anyway cause i was smart enough to bring my laptop and some work home yesterday. they are now estimating 10" for my area.

kids have been sledding since thanksgiving...

It is snowing here in Merrick on Long Island, NY as well - 2 hours so far - 1 inch on ground - half a foot is what is predicted for most of Nassau County; that sucks cause almost everyone in Nassau County overreacts to anything over 4 inches. Plus it's my day off from work today; guess i could go out in a little while tho...

About ten inches out here in Suffolk and LOVING IT!! Except that it took me two hours to drive less than ten miles. Damn flatlanders need to learn how to drive! And where are the snow plows? Foot of snow on Northern state and not a plow in sight. I feel bad for the rear-wheel drivers.

went to work LATE (had a trip to DC today...cancelled due to the obvious) and left work to come home to some psycho calling saying she knew me and why I didn't call her back. Oh yea...shez renting a hotel tomorrow night and waiting for me -- WTF?!? <-- serious too!
