ok in reference to everything u stated..lemme see:
the good: turned 19

the parties: now before tiesto im saying Seaman was the best
lovelife: still in its virgin state as it was when i was born
school: fucked up as usual...same like all years
work: quit a dog fucking job which i couldve been a manager in by now
finances: was up thru the first half of the year and now in negative values
travels: does traveling to hamilton count?
relationships: there was this one strange shooter girl that i faintly remember..but nah..that wasnt a relationship

I had a decent year.

Started off, I was single, and praying to get into teachers college. In april, I got letters from two universities, one saying I was rejected, the other saying i was on a waiting list. That waiting list ended up getting narrowed down, but in the end, I was still only the 7th best of the people that didnt get in.

Party wise, I had an amazing year. I never partied often before this year, and was able to get out every couple months.

The year got sooo much better in the past 4 weeks. 2 weeks ago, I got a call from Daemen College in New York saying that I have been accepted to their teachers college. I got a decent christmas bonus from work (which will help me pay for the tuition), and best of all I met an awesome girl, and we have been dating for a month now. So I am happy.

let's see....met a whole bunch of deejays....gained a new best friend.....injured my knee.....got the stomach flu twice in 6 weeks....2002 was great.

Posted by Durafei on Dec-06-2002 00:12:

The good:
- Did pretty well at school
- Made the first real big accomplishment of my life: Went to europe for 2 weeks
- Attended a lot of really great parties
- Made a lot of new friends

The bad:
- Broke up with a girlfriend of 2 years whom I really loved
- Have been doing E at waaay too many parties after that. Must stop doing that shit
- Spent too much money on parties. I don't even know how I'll survive for the next 4 months

Overall, probably not the best year of my life, but definitely the craziest(in a good sense) year of my life.. Still, I'm happy

Posted by mecha on Dec-06-2002 01:17:

parties: too many to remember, of course the best have to be dave seaman, and sasha
love life: spend the beginning of the summer with my gf
school: did very well
work: coop job, gaining some valuable experience
financies: low
travels: only went to Montreal
relationship: was perfect till my gf went to NY
friendships: made too many new friends

Posted by torontotrance on Dec-06-2002 01:36:

I'll add some more.....met sander kleinenberg twice.....got him to sign my nubreed 4.....gained a tremendous friendship with a very caring and honest person.....(one of the highlights of 2002)....what else...hmmmmmm......Canada WINNING THE HOCKEY DOUBLE GOLD.....partying in the streets on feb 24th/2002.....I will never forget that....what else....hmmmmmmmmmhipchecks.......errrrrrr...that's all for now.

yeah.. everybody's got a bit of balance.. can't all be great, right?

Mine started fine.. on the streets of Paris. Got back to TO, lots of parties, lots of work, I did ok in school. Payed off my bank loan by the beginning of April. Passed all exams, then worked a bit til beginning of July and made $ for Europe. July: Paris, Serbia, Montenegro.. August: Greece, Italy, Croatia. Back to T.O. and then I couldn't get a job, dug into a bank loan again, broke off a relationship, was low on cash and low on friends too.. until recently. And I will end this year in Spain.

Overall, kind of satisfied.

Damn...you get around! lol
That's awesome though!!!!

Let's see...
The good:Got to work at Alliance Atlantis on a contract kept in contact with the supervisor over MSN; got an interview TODAY for a desktop anaylst (hardware) position. I'm pretty sure it's mine.
The bad: Was out of work for sooo long....
Parties: Had some great outtings with ma fellow TAs....Armin back in April was definately a highlight for me. I'll never forget that smile on his face, it haunts me! lol....honestly though, it's great to have a DJ that plays awesome tOOns and gets into it.
Love: What can I say? My wife lost like, 15 pounds or so, she looks amazing! Then she want to an National Irish Dance competition and kicked ass! I love my wife!
Life: Had a lot of time to think about myself with my time off. My epiphany earlier in the year certainly woke me up from a depression I was going through. I'm actually starting to realize what everyone has been seeing in me for so long that I could never see. It's very self impowering and a definately aweness of what I'm really capable of.
I must take this time to thank JULIE SPYDER for all your days of MSNing me for days on end right after my epiphany; I appreciated it tons! You're the best!! (I will meet you yet! )
School: Home-studied my A+ and got it; saved big bucks in doing so.
Work: Was a low for the beginning of the year but things are really turning around fast. I'm getting job offers all over the place lol.
Financies: Dunno how I made it this far, but my head is above the water minus a somewhat large VISA bill but that'll be a goal to chop down once I start my new job.
Travels: Didn't go too far this year...next year will go out to B.C. for my sister's wedding. (Vancouver area)
Relationships/Friendships: Continue to meet new and exciting people from TA....will continue in the new year.

Posted by The Highroller on Dec-06-2002 02:51:

The Good:
- finally came out of my personality "shell"
- started partying
- met the some of the friendliest, welcoming people i have ever met - the TAs (esp Jeff, Sunny, RJ, Ken, and this other guy that didnt tell me his name (he brought his cousin with him))

The Bad
- Financial situation has been mediocre
- haven't been getting as many hours as i would like to at work

The Worst:
- relationships. its been a really fucked up year for me in this department, i dont even want to get into it. right now my #1 priority is finding a girl that i can actually like

Posted by TheDemon on Dec-06-2002 03:33:

Not a bad year. Lots of intresting things happened. Can't wait to see what 2003 had to offer. Lots of major things happening.

Posted by OrZonE on Dec-06-2002 03:50:

The good
- Finally finished highschool, those 3 years were 3 years too long.
- Started Uni, hope to finish in 3 years as well.
- Finally got a job
- Every party I've been to has been mesmerizing! A special highlight was AvB @ the Guv back in April, 2nd party and I loved it. Couldn't walk home after that. lol

The bad
- Haven't gone anywhere outside of a 150km radius
- Between work and school I rarely get any sleep

Love
- insert pic of a desert here . Im losing my faith

Relationships
- Romantic: I had to break it off before it even started - no time.
- Friends: Met lots of new ppl, a small bunch of TAs.

Finances
- Im keeping a positive mind about this. Saving up for a 300ZX TT, soon baby soon . By summer hopefully.

Posted by Endlesswave on Dec-06-2002 05:10:

Good: Met more and more people (which is always a plus!).
Bad: Haven't really done what I am supposed to be doing for school which is figure out how I am going to get into teacher's college etc. I procrastinate like mad! As help! lol

School: See above and also York is the gino fest it always is, hopefully sometime this year I want to hit up the Underground for a pub night or two (see how the renovations turned out considering they pumped in 1.5 million into it!)

Work: Can't complain, been there for a year, money's good, people are cool. One friend of mine from there wants me to burn him some trance (I will convert him lol)Another girl I know (sort of a family friend) already loves some stuff I lent her, a Mark O cd as well as PvD @ Innercity, fun stuff.

Finances: Not too bad, saved up lots, trying to save up more for future plans to party abroad next summer (hopefully at the same time buy decks).

Travels: None this year but hopefully will soon.

Relationships: Meeting tons more fun/cool people and talking with friends I haven't seen in ages. One of my friends is coming to Tiesto with a bunch of her friends who are also going. Should be a fun night.

Love life: Has been dead for quite some time but meh I'll find somebody. Not even really looking (sick of that). It'll just happen whenever. Talking to one or two now, who knows.

great thread!

* the good: - finally gained the courage to come out for parties this year! have went to local clubs before, but just isn't the same.
- meeting LOTS of new people (ilyia: the fucking partying king, lol any party with ilyia is a GOOD one! thanks for everything man , nathalie: an AMAZING lady for so many reasons! *muah* been there for a couple firsts, and made them experiences i'll remember forever , mirza: crazy nice guy, awesome to be around you man. mah bro and twin seperated at birth (not) graham: you coming out to viva showed me that you're not afraid to meet new people and have a great time. good for you. and yeah, the teisto situation's perfect, don't worry. i'll be seeing you more in the future i know it , emery: seeing how upbeat and positive you were at viva really added to my time there. i will definately party it up with you again! there's other people i met too, but these are the ones that stick out
- have pretty much lost my shyness around people, specifically of the opposite sex
- generally have gained a huge amount of confidence in myself over this year.

* the bad - SCHOOL. omfg, with everything good going on in my life, school just brings it down that much. finals are gonna kill me, i don't know how i'm gonna survive them.

* the ugly - this rash on my foot... wtf did you give me sooper? ...

* love - a couple prospects, but nothing special. not really trying to meet anyone. if it happens, it happens, i'm not gonna go and chase something just becuase of the chase. some real cuties at work and school though, wow...

* money - i'm a student, so cash is basically all gone to tuiton. but the job is nice, and quarterly bonuses are a nice treat. have the things that i want (md, cellphone, digicam) so it's all good. no car though need my licence first

* all in all - a very good year. if i could bottle this up as wine, i'd save it till i'm on my death bed, drink it, and relive all the memories i've made. and next year is only gonna be better, i just know it

2002

2002 was a good year.
I tried retiring as a partier but all the djs i came to love over the years were coming down more frequently. Too many party presciptions that i should relax.

Good
- had a great fkn time all year
- no major heart breaks
- stable career.
- made some good investments
- turned 23
- bought a new car
- shaved my head. (use to be a gino so hair is very important.)
- good health
- every weekend

Bad
- I cant enjoy myself on the weekends like i do on the weekends.

hope my luck continues through next year
