Recent Tiesto Interview

Hi Everybody!!!

I am back and recovered from my American tour. I can't tell you how thrilled I am that it went so well. It feels like I�ve been on a holiday!! Everywhere I come I get such a warm welcome, people with Ti�sto-shirts which they make themselves, pictures, presents, cd's etc, etc. I just can't believe it sometimes. All the effort everyone puts in all this. I am very flattered by all of you.

Many people ask me now how it feels to be the number one DJ in the world? Well...it feels great!!! For me, it�s a dream come true and it gives me so much fulfilment, it's very hard to describe. It tells me how much pleasure people give me while I am spinning my sets all over the world, it tells me how privileged and lucky I am with my life. It tells me my story, from cleaning the toilets after a gig to now getting the most luxury suites in hotels and all the �rich and fame�.

But the most important thing it tells me is that I got this award from the people who love my music, the ones that voted for me, the ones who have supported me from the beginning, the ones promoting me and believing in me..

Award wise it can't get higher then this and I am not asking for more as this�. it will give me the extra energy to keep going, to try to make every gig I do a memorable one and to keep partying till I can't anymore. I will work as hard as I can to be the DJ who deserves the number 1 spot with new sets and lots of new music to come�.
