Acid Trance

I was wondering if you guys could recomend me some good ACID TRANCE tunes, Im new to this genre so it doesen`t matter if they`re new or old. Thanks!

Oakenfold's song pics - anything circa 1996-2000 (parts of 2001 as well).

Cool

look out 4 tracid stuff

Posted by The Master on Dec-06-2002 18:07:

can you be a LITTLE more specific? thanks!!!

Posted by Lira on Dec-06-2002 18:44:

Acid trance?

lochi - serious tangent
Jon the dentist - global phases
Commander tom - the vulcan
Most tunes from Antiloop (In my mind, nowhere to hide, ...)

Often producers who work with acid trance produce acid techno as well. Therefore, search for some "acid techno" threads... there are plenty of them

Obviously, as soon as Swamper fixes the search engine

PS.: Hey, Porqu nunca ests en el foro ibero-americano?

Thanks Maaz, Ill check those out.

P.S. Cual foro Iberoamericano?

Lochi is more like "acidtechno". I define Acid trance as hard trance with acidinfluenses..like hard kick & bass with 303. Acid trance is my favourite genre!

Antiloop is swedish cheese! They have made some good traxx tho!

they make both acid techno and acid trance. lochi is just one of the many alisases of chris lib & lawrie immersion. both of them have released a tremendous amount of acidmuzac under various names, be it acid techno or acid trance (cosmic trigger, shaft punk, dirtball, baron felch, mish mash, binmen, etc )

it's not necessarily HARD trance. i'll be honest and say i don't like the so-called-acid released on tracid traxx and similar labels.

the classic acid trance is very different from that stuff. and i like it much more. but unfortunately, only few producers make it nowadays

some old-school classics:

hardfloor - acperience 1
acid scout - acid marathon 1,2 & 3
emmanuel top - stress <--- his best track
the pump panel - ego acid
the rising sons - afghan acid
brain accent - orange acid
nuclear hyde - pesola
awex - it's our future
pergon - the deliverer
acrid abeyance - tranquil
misjah & tim - purple road
union jack - red herring

Acid trance isn't necessarily related to hard trance at all. It evolved from German techno, with all its sizzling synths, pads and stuff that doesn't exist in acid techno. I would give you a better definition, but I had just one hour of sleep this night and I can't really think in any language Just download those tunes I recommened and you'll see what I mean

edit: Wow, Acid Junkie's post appeared out of the blue Anyway, get those tunes he recommended too

If these are acid trance tracks, the only track released on Tracid Traxxx that sounds remotely like these is Solar Quest - Acid Air Raid.....

Posted by Noisician on Dec-07-2002 03:49:

that's right, and u know why acid air raid is so different from other releases on tracid traxx? because it was not originally released there. it was released on choci's chewns first and only then licensed to tracid traxx 4(!) years after. perhaps, tracid realized that this track would raise the label's rating because it sounds so much better than other stuff released there

"Acid Air Raid" ownz

Ok..I didn't think of that..I usually listen to "so-called-acid released on tracid traxx". I've read somewhere that Kai Tracid is the man behind Acut Genius. Formic Acid & Evolution is two of the best traxx among the acidflash complications.

I must say that I like the "new" acid better than the old. But I think u dissagree there Acid Junkie, right?

I like traxx like these....

Warmduscher - 10 kleine Bassdrums (Palle Pille Mix)
Black Money - White Powder (Accenter & Three O. Mix)
A.S.Y.S. - Acid Head Cracker (303 Inferno Mix)
Cosmic Commando - Acid Overdose
DJ The Crow - The Speed (DJ The Crow meets DJ Arne LII Mix)
Unix - The Spirit Of God (Club Mix)
Longy - Spiegelsaal (Acid Mix)
Soundgrabber - Acid Fighter (berdruck Rmx)
P.G.L. - In Your Mind
S.Y.S. - Weiber (Original Mix)
Blutionium Boy - Brainshooter (DJ Neo Remix)

OMFG..They are SO good!
