Trance in TV commercials

I was wondering what trance (or electronic)songs have been used in tv commercials. (Big brands like car commercial etc. not local only)

the ones i can think of off the top of my head:

Air - Playground love
Dirty Vegas - Days go By
Basement Jaxx - Wheres your head at
telepopmusik - Breathe
Crystal Method - Name of the Game
Crystal Method - Busy Child

i know a lot of moby songs were also raped.

I searched but didn't come up with this thread exactly.

Trying to prove someone wrong on how trance is preveliant in the us culture.

thanks

Totally off the track (appologies), but this song shits me to death; just had to get it out of my system.

Pretty sure Chicane had a song used downunder, and some other one was used to promote the 2002 world cup, cant remember though.

Just off my head...there are probably a 1000 tunes in adverts and counting... UK alone embraced trance when it hit in 1998-99 and god knows how many commercial were done using electronic muzik in them to captivate the young clubber's attention....from the Fashion Industry in NYC to Paris....bah....very hard to answer this question as sadly, a human being's mind can only recall this much <--->

As for the tunes you listed above, most of them are commercial tracks......might wanna hit the Ibiza TV archives....you'll have better luck there...

Since you are in the US, the R.A.V.E bill has just been signed..i don't forsee much marketing future in an economy that is governed by people who are gonna tear your clubs down as and when they wish.....

btw, what sparked the curiosity?

how does moby get raped when he's the biggest pimp? he makes songs first for commercials and when they get enough exposure, he cashes in with a cd...

WHAT THE FUCK IN GOD'S NAME IS THE 'R.A.V.E.' BILL!?!/!?!?

ps... uh.. pardon the all caps, it's just i live in the us and dont' know aobut this >_<''

Here is the thread R.A.V.E. Act

Probably will get shot down somewhere in the system. My guess is the judicial branch.

The reason why i started this thread was a person i know didn't think they used "techno" in tv commercials. Just wanted to give them a cd with some of the songs.

BTW US only commercials please. thanks again

MTV really likes using trance and other electronica. Just not the music videos.

michelob ultra (its a beer)has some sort of trance tune for their radio commercials in the us. it sounds pretty good too but i can't ID the song they are using.

Dunno

i think aphex twins - popcorn was used in a pampers commerical in canada sometime last year. atleast i think it was pampers?

Posted by [mart] on Dec-10-2002 21:35:

Since we're not talking about trance I'll mention Ryksopp - So Easy; not sure exactly what advert it was used on but it's a good track

Posted by MindShifter on Dec-13-2002 04:23:

Its not a commercial, but the theme song for MTV's Sports Unlimited is Tiesto - Suburban Train.

Posted by tranceman78 on Dec-13-2002 04:37:

Azzido Da Bass - Dooms Night (Timo Maas Remix) was used in a Michelin(sp?) tire commercial.

Posted by mi7ch on Dec-13-2002 04:42:

moby is a good guy, i read that every song on play was used in a movie or a comercial, and for 18 he wrote 150 tracks and just the most popular 18 got on the cd. so its not like he just writes songs for commercials.
