Think Viva could pull this off?

With Spundae LA/SF facing closure for the time being (after drug raids on the weekend), Armin's got nowhere to spin on NYE

Think Viva would be able to book Armin and get a whole event set up in time for NYE

I would definitely pay $3.50 for water just because its Armin and its NYE

Seriously, Armin + Viva + NYE = aweso0me night for sure.

i think the Spundae promoters would first find an alternative venue, i mean i suppose they still have Armin 'booked' that nite and have prolly prebooked his plane tix as well .. with ticket sales and all it wouldn't make sense to axe the whole thing ..

as much as i would like to see Viva do this i just don't think that it'll happen ..

I would Love to see Armin for new year's. But it is highly unlilely. For NYE imagine what his fee is.

If Armin IS under contract with the club for NYE they will have to pay him rather half or all of the fee he has charged if they decide . So I think the club owners will have to do something to keep Armin from sueing them, unless they file for Bankruptcy.

I don't even wanna see Armin anymore.. The only time he has really impressed me was during his very first appearance in TO during State '01.. Besides, he's in TO pretty often. There are other great DJs who haven't been in TO yet, that Viva should bring.. such as Dumonde for example

thats wierd man.. everyone in the montreal forum has his shows as their favourites. Maybe its cause he always comes to the guv a club with just about the worst vibe i have ever been to. maybe if they brought him to system or viva it would be better, iv never been to either though. ( i hear system has some pretty hot chicks too)

i've noticed recently that a lotta newer TA's or ppl who started listening to trance in general have preferred AVB as their favourite DJ... is it because he's a lot younger than most of those big player DJ's and can connect with the crowd more.. ? or is it just because of what he spins that differs from a lot of the older trance DJ's who have started experimenting with other kinda sounds .. ?

Dumonde would be VERY cool to see on NYE. Would've loved to see Sasha spin on NYE but since he's taking the day off, Dumonde would be a good subsitute. I doubt Viva will get him booked tho, even if they tried.

hey im older and i enjoy armin's musicand i have been listening to trance and began my raving career way back in 1990

Right On. I was a bigger AVB fan untill he came to Toronto a number of times. Same old shit. AVB parties are very predictable. No more fun.

Now Deep Dish was not predictable. They fkn pulled some shit out of their sleves.
