Anyone seen "Run Lola Run"??

i thought it was certainly one of the top 10 movies i've ever seen...

it is a german film...
it has a very good plot(a bit like memento)
screenplay is amazing...
quite a bit of action...
and throughout the film you will see a lot of symbolism... and it has a very important underlying theme about fate and stuff like "what the world would be like if something never had happened"...

certainly a movie i would recommend...

anyone else seen it??

yea it was smashing. saw in in theaters last year. the spoof they did on the simpsons was great.

Good movie,but it is very old.Tom Tykwer has just made a new movie called "The Emperor And The Empress".Haven't seen it yet,but the critics have been showering it with top grades and so on.So it wouldn't surprise me if this one is just as good.

Also, a very recent film that he has releaced is called The Princess and the Warrior. It's here in the states as a new release. It also starrs Franka Potente, and is very similar in themes to Run Lola Run. i.e. twist of fate, coincidence, love. I love it! And the music is just as nice, more ambient though.

well it's a German movie, so probably somewhere in Germany

yeah... there is a lot of german techno in the soundtrack...
even though i'm not a big fan of techno...
the songs are definately good and it kept the pace of the movie going throughout the whole film..

imho, its fucked up.

nobody told me that they go back, and change around what they did wrong....

so i was watching it, stoned like a fucking monkey

and then i'm like ...wtf.. i think i've seen this movie before! and then the end.

the simpsons spoof was where homer cuts off his finger and they have to rush to the er. we are seen 3 different versions of the story. the use some sound sample from the movie also. not 100% clone but borrowed nontheless.

yeah, just one scene when lisa's running, they have the run lola run beats in the background.

Yeah, I saw it a few years back. I can't really remember the whole plot, but I remember watching it. I do know I watched it on the Independent Film Channel. They show a lot of movies like that. Great channel in my opinion.

The movie is awesome, so is the soundtrack. Wouldn't call it techno though..just something electronic (btw. all of the tracks are produced by tom Tywker himself, the director of the movie. btw�. he and franke potente (the actress) are..i think married..a couple at least)
And the movie takes place in good ol' Berlin of course!
