Anyone going to Transmission?

Transmission Anthem Evolution Phase 3
15th February, 2003
State Sports Centre, Homebush, Sydney

Transmission is back with another ANTHEM EVOLUTION. For the first time, featuring internationals DuMonde and JamX - creators of the hugest tracks known to dance music - "Tomorrow" and "The Theme" plus many more.

They are coming to melbourne too... for a Pharmacy party... this will be one hard trance party i will attend... Dumonde and Jam-X are the only hard trance i like....

Yeah just what I thought when I read the ad on inthemix - a wanker who doesn't know enough about Dumonde wrote it.

I was pretty sure that JamX + De Leon = Dumonde.
And that Dumonde have not produced a track called "The Theme".
I think it was meant to be refer to Jurgen Vries - The Theme (Dumonde remix).
Plus there's no mention of "God music" which I believe it should have mentioned it, considering it was quite popular this year.

I don't like much hard trance but I love Dumonde's tracks because a lot of their tracks have melody.

Dumonde have done so many good productions and remixes... I can't remember all of them but I have lot in my MP3 collection. I remember going through my collection and discovering so many great Dumonde tracks & remixes that I didn't realise were that good.

One favourite track I certainly remember is "See the light". I especially love the dark feel and intense epic buildup.

Another great track is Ayumi Hamasaki - Trauma (Dumonde dub). Very energetic, has an uplifting melody.

Yeah I'll probably be there. An old friend has been bugging me about Transmission for ages... we went to the first Transmission "Hyperspace" at the Metro theatre in February 2000, it was good (excellent lasers), but I haven't been to another Transmission since.

these lasers in my sig are from the last Transmission event .. best lasers I have ever seen, bar none..

Yeah there aren't many events that have excellent laser setups...
Other than Transmission, it seems only raves like Utopia & Mystic have substantial laser setups. Lasers can certainly enhance the experience of trance. Everytime I listen to:

Steve Morley - Reincarnations (Dumonde remix)

I think of lasers, either sweeping or flashing in time to the track... Reincarnations has to be one of those tracks that go perfectly with lasers.

absolutely helen! dumonde should be an awesome break from all the crap hard house that they usually play at Transmission...

the only "trance" track I remember from last event was Arome - Hands up! (Scot Project Mix) ... and that's borderline as it is....
