I think the festive time went out the window when 3 guys gave Jesus a whole heap of gifts (damn trend setters, now look see what ye done); hence, why we shop till we drop giving presents.

But yeah, I work in customer service, and this year seems rather "un-festive"

Actually I'm in quite a festive mood this year considering the number of problems I've got

i think the older i get, the less "festive" the holidays become. once you have kids though, you start to get into all that fun stuff again...personally, it's REALLY hard to get in the christmas mood when it's 80 degrees out i'm so sick of florida...

christmas is a corporate thing...

its the time of year when all the foul machinations of evil corps to leech you of your money come into effect in the same of some fat pedophile that died centuries ago trying to get down a chimney to molest some kids.

MERRY CHRISTMAS btw

you guys are too negative. chreeestmas! yeeea. hehe. be happy. it's a time when you can get togetha and have some fun. and the fact that the city (toronto at least) gets all festive as well makes it hard for me not to be excited. like the festival of lights that happened a little while ago. fucking nice.

if you look at it from a non-coporative perspective, it makes things a little easier. and the fact that this holiday is one of THEE holidays that bring the best outta a lot of ppl.

i've always loved christmas

thst is exactly why i don't get excited for this time of year. bah-humbug!

the only good thing is i get to see my brother twice a year and this is one of those times.

As for me, I don't like Christmas. It's every year a sad period for me : the weather is cold, the night comes @ 16 PM, I lose all my money, the big family meeting annoys me...

The summer is far funnier, I can make some sport without freezing!

i don't get as hyped up as i did when i was... say 10 yrs old... but still... it's a nice time to chill out... (and blow your life savings)

new years parties: way way up

Yeah....Christmas definetly blows. For shitty holidays, it ranks up there with Valentines Day

Ya well in minnesota now, there is no snow on the ground so it doesn't seem like christmas.

And the lights. THey have been up since before thanksgiving on some houses. And they wont be off until easter.

zzz... Christmas energy isn't the same anymore. Dunno if its because I live in a small town (as opposed to hometown Toronto) now, or what.

Its just my immediate family around here... so there's now visiting with relatives or anything now. I always remember having all kinds of aunts, uncles, and cousins just coming and visiting around Xmas, and it was all good. Chilling outside with my friends, building snow forts on the small street we grew up together on in Toronto.

LeMay Road for life!!

dammit... I want my childhood back!
