Bucs in the Super Bowl!!

Prove somebody else will get there, Oakland umm no too pass happy, (bucs #1 against the pass), Eagles, (without Mcnabb and not at home = bucs win), Packers, (at bucs =loss), Phins, (defense not good enough to stop the bucs), oh yeah, Rice, Sapp, Lynch, Booger, Barber, Jackson, Kelly, Spires, Singleton, Brooks, Quarles, and the rest of the O including Johnson, Johnson, Jurvicious, McCardell, Alstott, Pittman, Dilger, Dudley, Colman, Jenkins, Christy, Oben, Walker,... yeah and what!!!

no responses? i guess you all agree, solid work!!!

As soon as I heard that John Gruden was gonna coach the Bucs, I automatically chose them to win the Super Bowl. So yes, I agree with you. Raiders would be my second choice. These are the two teams that I would like to see win the Super Bowl in January.

King

Oakland & Tampa Bay --- in super bowl!

Posted by RoLLiN on Dec-15-2002 08:02:

hey zewad, wouldnt you love to see a Dolphins v.s Buccaneers Super Bowl?? an all Florida superbrawl, ive been a lifelong dolphin fan and i think this could finally be the year....

Posted by FrOstY on Dec-15-2002 22:32:

I agree and disagree. You can certainly make an argument for the bucs being in the super bowl. they prob should be. I think they're the best team in the NFC. But u neva know. Look how the season has gone. teams that should be winning arent. for example, Pittsburgh losing to Houston. Who would have thought that? so while it makes pefect sense, u cant be so sure till it happens

Posted by Zewad on Dec-16-2002 18:23:

bucs dont lose close games, or to teams like houston, eagles lost to the jags, colts, and titans,... the jags is no excuse to lose to they are pathetic,... packers lost to the saints, vikings, and bucs, vikings are pathetic and shouldnt have beaten them, bucs have lots to saints 2x, and eagles, first saints game was with 3min left in OT b/c of a punter throwing a pass b/c it was about to be blocked, one fluke play, and the other game was a 3 pt loss, and the eagles was the eagles on the road, all losable games, but our close games to jokes like panters 12-9 and lions 23-20, yes ugly wins but wins, we win the games we are supposed to, we might be the only team in the NFL that can say that,.. and the Pitt losign to Houston, the bucs aren't Pitt, we're far better, wait till MNF next week Pitt at Bucs, Dolphins vs Bucs would be a decent game, b/c Ricky wouldnt run well against us and the Bucs would force the phins to beat us through the air vs the best secondary in the league (also the #1 pass defense), that would be a tough challenge

Chuckie can kiss my ass if you think the bucs are going to san diego! they're going to have to come through the vet to get there and you saw what happened there the last 2 playoff seasons! and mcnabb should be back in time for playoffs, though feeley has proven that we can get by without him.

it is an inault that you think the giants even have a chance. my mom could caoch better than fassel!

i wouldnt even be shocked if the Cowboys even pulled off the upset in Dallas this weekend, that 3rd string QB is gonna bite you on the ass sooner or later, but the Giants are playing inspired ball right now, so be afraid be very afraid,

i have complete faith in andy reid's decision to play feeley again. in fact, i think feeley is as good a quarterback as koy - only koy is a bit more expereinced that is all. and geez - it is dallas! the only thing that worries me is that dave campo kmows that his ass is on the line if he can't win out the rest of the season. but this eagles team is too pumped to fuck up now. do you know how long it has been since philly got to the superbowl? this team does and it will show in the last two games of the season. sorry, but the bucs are coming back to the vet in january.

you worry about Campo in Dallas, i worry about the weather in Chicago on Sunday night at 830 in rural Illinois away from the water to be the nfl's last game of the season, its gonna be cold

i know the bucs have trouble in cold weather, but chicago really isn't that good this year. i think pittsburgh will be a bigger challenge for them. even so, i expect they will win the rest of their games.

gracias for the kind thoughts for the bucs, but i still worry about Chicago, we'll take care of business with Pitt, but i still dont like the Eagles chances of winning out,... Yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me,

i DO like the eagles chances of winning out. all season, we have been hoping for this so that the last home game at the vet (ever) will be the nfc championship, which i already have tickts to.

though i wouldn't mind playing the bucs in the championship. (mostly cause we have beaten them the last 4 times we played them )

sure, i think the Bucs can take on anybody, ok sure it's gonna be eagles in tampa so be it, but these arent Dungy's bucs anymore, we's gonna kick some eagle ass

i don't like john gruden - though he is a good coach. but andy reid is still better.

andy reid and john gruden are from the same mold under mike holmgren, your defensive coord, mike?? johnson, old guy, cant quite pull his name up, but he is a great coord, not like monte kiffen but still really good

yeah jim johnson has been invaluable the last few years. and chuckie used to be our offensive coordinator before he went to oakland.

Posted by FrOstY on Dec-19-2002 05:21:

the bucs are certainly far from a sure thing. Alot depends on what happens these last 2 games. If the Bucs finish on top in the NFC, then they're looking good. But if they have to go to Philly and especially Green Bay, they're in serious trouble cause it's getting cold quickly

Posted by Zewad on Dec-20-2002 14:26:

ok lets hypothetically say that Philly somehow manages to miraculously pull off this home field advantage thing, the Bucs will sure give Philly a nice going away present for the Vet by kicking their ass, oh and that is also assuming that they somehow are able to manage to pull it all together and get that first win in the playoffs,

ok, what makes you think beating dallas and the giants is miraculous? as eagles fans like to say...

DALLAS SUCKS, GIANTS SWALLOW.
