what is most pleasing to the eye is whatever is the most efficient for you to mix.

Spend the money and buy better equipment.

Facing into a wall when mixing can't be too visually stimulating can it. Maybe turn the stuff around. And put a nice pretty big table cloth or something over the table cos it looks pretty average. If you cover it up, it may look better

Get a pair of JBL 15" speakers, more lights, fog machine, maybe a coffin for your tables/mixer.

yeah, i agree, mixing into the wall sucks, and you need to cover the table with a nice sheet. hippies like to use tie-dye ones, but i used a green one, i think mine look pretty good now:

well i had them turn the other way but they took up to much room and i do have a fog machine and a liquid acid projector and im lookin into buyin a coffin and some lights but it just looks kinda bland to me but i will try the cloth thing

i mix facing the wall... meh, i don't really care what i'm looking at, i'm more into the music

but what would be cool is...
you know that picture of paul oakenfold taken from behind and he's facing this huge arena crowd with his hands in the air or something...
that would be cool to have as a poster on the wall in front of your decks

or just any huge arena crowd shot taken from the dj's perspective would be kinda cool to have on the wall in front of your decks

wow. those picture look really good for little white boxes with red "x"s in em.

i cant see the pics

actually, if you are going to mix into the wall, then i suggest a mirror, so you can look at yourself, and perfect those winks to the cuties in the crowd, or the jesus pose if you wanna be like oaky.

Posted by Acid John on Dec-16-2002 01:27:

lol. the jesus pose
